Everything In It's Right Place
+ I can't believe they killed Red Lincoln! Noooo! I really do like amber!Lincoln and this episode had me feeling very sympathetic towards him but I loved red!Lincoln. That's it - I want another universe re-due! (Maybe he's not dead? Maybe it was a set up or his body is in cold storage or something. We didn't see a body! I don't have to believe it if I don't want to. I mean even when we see bodies it doesn't mean someone is gone.)
+ I'd like to think that blue!Olivia would have a reaction to red!Lincoln's death, I still ship them, but I'm doubtful, sadly.
+ I loved getting to see Olympic marksman Olivia taking out the assassin. That was awesome.
+ Anna Torv is amazing. Her face when Lincoln said 'hello' - the hope and then the disappointment when she realised it wasn't her Lincoln - was heartbreaking.
+ I think red!Olivia's hair is darker - I love it. She looks great.
+ I wished we'd gotten a scene of Olivia right after she learned about red!Lincoln's death. I realise that this was amber!Lincoln's episode but seriously? This is (a) Olivia! We spent a lot of time with the red!verse team and we deserved a moment with her. He wasn't just some throw away character to cause Olivia grief! In fact we knew him better then we do blue!Lincoln. (Okay, that I'm not completely sure about but it feels like it.)
- Also red!Lincoln mentioned earlier that Olivia never cried on a case so we should have seen her crying here.
+ I liked the final Olivia/Lincoln scene. I thought it was lovely.
+ If amber!Lincoln and red!Olivia end up together I really don't know if I'll be happy about it. Right now how the end was set up is making me not pleased. You can't just replace one person with their doppelganger! It also feels a little too much like the show is giving poor pining Lincoln an Olivia of his own to love since he was rejected by blue!Olivia and that squicks me out. Oh, and the title - is that implying that amber!Lincoln is supposed to be in the red!verse and/or partnered with red!Olivia? Because I don't like that either.
And yet... at the same time I actually can see amber!Lincoln/red!Olivia? I really like their scenes together, especially that last one, and I think that they could be an interesting pairing. Plus I do like the idea of two people in unrequited love with others unexpectedly falling in love with each other. But at the moment - no.
+ I really felt the absence of Charlie this episode. Could they really not get him back for the end of the season? They could have at least had a picture with him, Lincoln and Olivia up in red!Lincoln's locker.
+ When red!Astrid went to talk to Broyles I thought for sure she was going to tell him she knew he was a shapeshifter (or rather more likely something about there being a high percentage chance he is) and I was both really worried about her and excited. I have no idea what Broyles would have done but now I want to know.
