Excellent episode.
+ "You took away the one thing in my life that meant anything to me. ... I was talking about you and me." - Amily. Oh. Ouch. Oh, Amily.
I am so worried about Amily. Takeda means business and I totally believe he would kill her. Plus she seems to already be injured. I've grown really fond of her. In fact she's one of my favourite characters. And even though it's so unlikely a part of me has always hoped she and Emily would become real friends; that Emily would grow to care about her. I feel so sorry for Amily and I want her to truly have what she always only thought she did with Emily.
- I really liked how the show re-built Amily's faith in Emily. First, with Tyler's theory about Frank which (maybe erroneously) has her thinking that Emily framed Tyler to protect her. Second, with Jack telling her about how supportive Emily had been about their relationship. It gives Amily 'proof' of Emily both protecting her and supporting her relationship with Jack. But I feel like even before that despite her pain and anger she still wouldn't have lashed out at Emily.
+ I loved the Nolan/Emily moment after Jack left. Him begging her to leave with Jack and find happiness and "make volunteer babies" was really sweet. He cares about his friends so much.
+ I am most intrigued about how much Daniel knows now. How much did Tyler tell him? And how much of that does Daniel believe? Even if it's not much there has to be a kernel of suspicion towards Emily now.
+ I find it interesting that both Grayson children called for Victoria when they were scared even though both are pissed at her right now.
+ At the moment I feel like Takeda finding Emily's box was a bit of a cop-out. I mean how did he know Tyler had it? How did he find Tyler's hideout? But this show is so well written I'm sure there has to be an explanation. There was that curious nod between him and Nolan at the party - did Nolan tip him off? This show does love to throw curve balls so I could see that.
+ "It's an honour to be of service." - Takeda. Okay, seriously why is he helping Emily? Service to whom - Emily? To justified vengeance? To David?
