I loved this episode.

+ I had the same expression as Nikita at the end. The whole Team Nikita = a family vibe was out in full force and it was utterly delightful. The whole episode was about the four of them as a family and it was wonderful. I think I could watch a whole series just about that - them being a family of spies that is. The final scene was amazing - the Birkoff/Nikita talk, Alex/Michael doing a Chinese food run, Alex giving Birkoff a check, Birkoff complaining about her use of his computer and then poking fun of Nikita... such a family. I love them so much.

+ I love how this episode tied emotional and plot continuity together. Percy giving Alex his account number helped him at the time but turned around to bite him in the long run (and I'm sure it soothes some of Alex's lingering anger at being played by him). Meanwhile Birkoff has been silently dealing with killing Carla and that comes to head in this ep in a really wonderfully done way.

+ Usually Birkoff is the one who brings the laughs but unexpectedly in this episode it was Alex. She was hilarious. First with "... Why? Because I'm awesome! What? Birkoff always gets to brag." (LOL) and "Hey I saw it in a movie once." (hee) and then when Birkoff had the same idea "See I told you it was a thing!" (heh).

I also loved this:

"She asked you to spy for her." - Alex
"Well come on we are spies." - Michael

First, LOL. Second, I love the idea of Nikita sending Michael to quiz Alex on her love life and him going along with it. Third, they are such a family! Aw. Fourth, seriously Michael is the best. I loved him reassuring Alex that love was worth it. I just love how quietly supportive he always is.

+ Yay for the Michael/Alex bonding. They didn't discuss what I really wanted them to - Semak's death, revenge - but their scenes were great.

+ I realise why Birkoff wouldn't want to talk to Nikita about Carla's death but he's just as close to Michael, and there's Alex as well. He could have talked to either of them. In fact I'm surprised that Michael hadn't talked to him about it.

+ I love how well Michael and Nikita work. I love how they balance each other.

+ It was really strange to see Percy so shaken. The most we ever have I think. I realise $70 million is a lot of money but... even for Percy? With his resources you'd think he could get it back. It was also strange to see Percy trying so hard to woo Unnamed Bad Guy at the end.

+ Okay I realise that Nikita isn't super woman and she can't always win in fights but this makes it two episodes in a row where a bad guy, in this case a random Division agent, is getting the better of her and she needs to be saved. Like the case with Sean, more so in fact, I understand the choice of having Birkoff shoot the guy and save her but it still annoys me. (Mostly in relation to the two eps in a row thing.)

+ Sigh. What a waste of Carlo Rota. If the show is going to keep using La Femme Nikita actors I wish they'd give them something interesting to do.

+ You know Michael and Alex could have unloaded some of the money.
