Nikita 2x21 Review

This is two episodes in a row now that have ended with Nikita smiling happily at her family as everyone is enjoying being together. I love it but it's making me nervous. Like it's all going to blow up in her face.
As ever I love the Nikita/Michael relationship. I loved his understanding about her lack of distrust in the government. I really loved this line: "Nikita you've never been very good at following my orders so don't expect me to follow yours." because he's understanding but they are equals and when he thinks she's wrong then he acts on that. Stephen accused him of being whipped but he really isn't.
Along with liking Michael (and Ryan) going with their guts, and against Nikita, I also really liked that Nikita showed up anyway to help them while at the same time trying to find proof of who was correct. I also liked her acknowledgement to Ryan at the end that she was wrong.
Alex and Birkoff being all siblingly was adorable. I loved his "Shhh, man. Don't spoil the moment" to Ryan when Sean kissed Alex.
I was a bit annoyed when Alex seemingly disappeared during the time that the mission went south. She wasn't with Birkoff and Ryan at the computers, there was no hint of her heading to the park to give them back-up, it was like she wasn't even there. What was she doing - sitting at Sean's bedside? Annoying.
As soon as Stephen showed up again I figured he was dead and sure enough.... This is actually really starting to irritate me. Division is bad but it's also filled with a lot of people who think they are soldiers for their government. It's filled with other versions of Nikita and Alex and Michael and Birkoff but we never really get to see that. We never will if every time we so much as get a name of someone they're immediately killed off.
I'm also really not happy at how cavalierly Michael killed Stephen. He was being quippy! He trained this man, they had a relationship and Michael knows that he truly believes he is on the right side, on the good side. And he made a quip after he killed him. Ugh.
Why wouldn't Team Nikita have a bunch of safe-houses set up just in case their current place was found? It's not like Nikita's never had this happen before.
Team Nikita has grown and Ryan was great, he fit right in, and Sean was fine but seriously they need another woman on the team. Considering how Sonja was going to hit the Esc key when she realised she'd found the safe house it seems a good bet that she could be joining the team. Or going by the last few episodes she'll probably die in the finale. I know which I want.
