Revelations

"That's for me to know and you to find out. (pause) Huh, how's that feel? Not so fun, hmm?" - Nolan. LOL. I love him teasing her. But what really makes this wonderful is Emily's reaction - she smiles, doesn't try to push or threaten him into telling her and warns him to be careful. Because she trusts him. ♥♥

- I also love Nolan's expression after Emily tells him no one plays dirtier than the Grayson's - that was much much a 'uh huh, except YOU' look.

"You're my family too." - Amily. ♥ Now if only we could see it, and have Emily start to return the feeling. I also liked Amily confronting Emily about her revenge schemes.

• I love that Nolan has his own plan to take Grayson Global down from the inside. I love it. Also it's because he has "no intention of letting those bastards profit off David Clarke". Of course it is. The fact that Nolan has been expecting/planning for something like this for a long time and he has a plan to be a trojan horse takes away some of the sting about him losing control of his company.

• Mainly I find Jack's storyline boring but I am really glad that the show has pretty much dropped Emily/Jack. I like that she's still envious of this new life Amily has created with Jack in her stead but, to me at least, it seems more about family and the life then about Jack specifically.

• It was nice to see Nolan at the Christening but you'd barely know that Jack and Nolan are still friends at this point. When we do get some interaction Jack doesn't even bother to inquire about why Nolan's so down, even after Nolan gives Jack a lead ("not for much longer"), before asking for a favour. I miss their friendship.

• I knew Daniel still had feelings for Emily and doubted he loved Ashley at all and this episode confirmed both. Daniel deleted his pictures of Ashley with no real expression then opened a folder of pictures of Emily he still had and smiled at them. Both women cheated on him from his perspective and yet while suspecting that Ashley was in some way coerced into what she did he still drops her with no regret.

• Poor Ashley. I kept thinking about Emily saving her from prostituting herself in the previous episode's flashbacks and was hoping that Emily would put her plan in motion before anything happened with Salvador but it doesn't look like it. If they wanted Ashley out of Daniel's life the PTB could have had Daniel see the video. There was no need for the Salvador thing. It was gross and unnecessary.

• Why didn't Emily send the video straight to Daniel? Sending it to Victoria made no sense with her stated goals.

• Emily's main goal now seems to be taking down the Initiative and I would love to see her teaming up with Victoria to accomplish that. Them working together could be a thing of beauty to watch. I find that I'd actually be semi-okay with Victoria getting off in the end without jail time (as long as she's punished in other ways) but Emily letting Conrad, who chose David as the fall guy and who ordered his death, off in any way will not be acceptable.

Mostly I just really don't want the show forgetting what Emily's revenge is about - her father. It kind of feels like they have. The Initiative may have bombed the plane but it was the Grayson's and others who framed and brought about her father's ruin and death. It'd be nice to get some more focus on that (Nolan's certainly not forgotten).
