iaria6x13: This episode was much more enjoyable then the previous one but I am really getting tired of the way the show keeps harping on how not smart Penny is. It seems to be getting worse and worse. The girls foray into comics was my favourite part of the episode but that bit about how slowly Penny read her comic really annoyed me. I did like the guys costumes a lot and the opening Sheldon/Leonard/Penny scene was great.
Leonard's line at the end about 'never finding a girlfriend as pretty as Penny again' annoyed me. It was a joke but at the same time it really seems to encapsulate what I find wrong with their relationship - that for all that he says he loves her he seems mostly about her looks and having sex with a hot girl then about Penny herself. I just don't like how the show portrays their relationship anymore. This includes Penny who's jealousy and putting down of other girls super annoys me. Plus a number of episodes back she was confessing to the girls that she was thinking about breaking up with Leonard so it's even more annoying. (Unless that was dropped?)
