Doctor Who 7x06 Thoughts

I liked it again! It was fun. Minus those first three episodes I find myself enjoying season 7 so much more than season 6.
• The Doctor/Clara continue to have a great rapport. I liked the doorway exchange and I really loved their fight over the laptop at the cafe. 27 brains, lol. Oh, Doctor. Also I'm still enjoying Clara's flirting and how it keeps throwing him.
• The Doctor was adorable. I loved his muttering about being a monk is not cool (because clearly that's what Clara was having an issue with). And I really loved the scene where the Doctor set up Clara's bedside table for her. That was just so him especially him taking a bite from a jammy dodger and then putting it back on the plate. Oh, also I loved that he took messages for Clara and did some chores (like "optimised photosynthesis in the main flowerbed", lol) because as we know he doesn't do well when forced to stay in one place.
• The new TARDIS is growing on me a bit. I liked it more than I did in the last episode. It has two levels still which is great. I also like the Gallifreyan symbols all over the place. It's still too cold for me though.
• Amy wrote books! That's perfect. Well, except for the fact that it should clearly be by Amelia Pond not Amelia Williams.
• This exchange jumped out to me:
Doctor: Listen, where did you get this number?
Clara: The woman in the shop wrote it down. It's a help line, isn't it? She said it's the best help line out there. In the universe, she said.
Doctor: What woman? Who was she?
Clara: I don't know. The woman in the shop.
I immediately got déjà vu of Ten and Donna in Turn Left. That of course made me think of Rose. Could it have been Rose who gave Clara the number? Of all the New Companions she's the only one who worked in a shop. The whole Bad Wolf thing leaves it open for Rose to have knowledge and affect anywhere in time and space. Maybe it's because I'm aware of the 50th special casting but I feel like this was about Rose. I suppose River Could also work. Either way I don't think this was a throw-away exchange.
- Continuing the déjà vu the scene between Clara and the little girl base station hit it as well. The mimicking made me think of Midnight. Still creepy.
• I loved the Doctor setting Clara up with the fez to collect tips so they could go for breakfast.
• "I don't take the TARDIS into battle. Because it's the most powerful ship in the universe and I don't want it falling into the wrong hands." - Doctor. Hmm. That's when I expected her to be captured. Maybe in a future episode. Also the Doctor has totally taken her into battle.
• Clara carrying her mug around as the Doctor dragged her into the TARDIS, through the plane and then back to the TARDIS amused me but then they had her taking a sip from it which annoyed me. There is no way there was anything in that cup.
• Hmm, 16 and 23 were missing from Clara's book. I'm guessing it has something to do with the mystery of who she is.
• I liked that they gave a reason for Clara to be better with computers than the Doctor. I like that she's clever but there is such a thing as too far. In 7x01 her being a Dalek accounted for a lot of what she managed, now this. As long as they keep giving reasons for it it won't bother me.
• "Actually, he's about to go on holiday. Kill him when he gets back. Let's not be unreasonable." - Kizlet. Heh.
• I was expecting Clara to die again and I was a tiny bit disappointed that she didn't. It could have been interesting and different - to have the Doctor keep finding new versions of Clara and both trying to figure out who she is and save her every episode.
