Doctor Who 7x12 Thoughts

I liked it overall but there were some things that annoyed me.
What I Did Like
• The Doctor vs the Cyber-Planner was fun. My favourite part of the episode. Matt Smith did a great job. I also loved how he defeated it because it was clever in a believable way.
• Porridge as the Emperor. I didn't see that coming and I loved it. I like that Angie had figured it out already by being observant. Also it was great seeing Warwick Davis in something.
• The new Cybermen. I liked the changes especially the little Cybermites.
• Second, you are beautiful." - Doctor. I love when the Doctor is delighted by things others would be scared of or dislike.
• Clara in change of the platoon and doing a pretty smashing job at it.
• This exchange between Clara and the Captain was great:
"I trust the Doctor." - Clara
"You think he knows what he's doing?" - Captain
"I'm not sure I'd go that far." - Clara
• Clara quizzing the Doctor to make sure it was him and once he started talking about his feelings for her smacking him because she knew it couldn't be him.
• I weirdly loved this: "Can I hide? Is it okay if I hide?" - Missy. I found it endearing.
What I Didn't Like
• The fact that the Doctor realised something was wrong and then acted in absolutely the worst way he could annoyed me and felt a bit contrived. He could have taken the kids home and then returned to check it out. Or he could have left them in the TARDIS where he knows they would be safe. Instead he sticks them in a room and then leaves them alone while he investigates. Actually I'm even more annoyed at Clara. The kids are her responsibility and she knows how these adventures with the Doctor go. She should have demanded he take them to safety first.
• The whole destroying of the trigger scene bothered me too. It required a bit too much dumbness. First, Clara getting close enough that the Doctor could grab her. Second, and mainly, the Doctor saying he didn't have control of his left arm and then neither of them bothering to use their loose hands to do something.
• If the Cyberman can now move faster then sight why the heck didn't they use that ability all the time? Fanwank: It uses a lot of processing power and after that the Cyber-Planner was using most of it fighting the Doctor.
• Angie was pretty bratty at parts and I'm curious about that choice. We've actually seen before that she has a problem with Clara (see "you're not my mother!") but it seemed a bit much this episode.
• "A mystery wrapped in an enigma squeezed into a skirt that's just a little bit too tight." - Doctor on Clara. Meh, could have done without that skirt comment.
