The Trouble With Troubles

• Audrey/Duke were the best part and I loved everything about them. I love that even without his memories there was clearly still a connection between them. I loved how he got her clothes and then gave her his private number in case she needed help. I loved the little reassuring arm touch when he leaves her at the hospital. I love that he ends up deciding to believe in her. All of their interactions were wonderful.

• This is how bad things have gotten for me with Nathan and Nathan/Audrey - I was pretty much meh about them especially their scene at her apartment. I was watching it and just felt nothing. Wait, no I did find myself a bit annoyed with Nathan when he made that comment about liking that she's 'looking like Audrey again'. But otherwise I was pretty 'whatever'.

• I do however still ship OT3. I really loved their short scene at the end when they were working together to go after William. I loved the teasing, and Audrey telling them what to do/getting them moving, and both guys trying for shotgun. ♥ I miss these scenes of the three of them working as a team and just being together.

• I was annoyed with Audrey keeping secret what she learned from William. Seriously aren't they past all this already?

• WTF was with Nathan shooting William?! Granted they'd gone there to shoot him but like that? Just as he was talking and opening up? Frankly it came off as Nathan's jealousy rearing it's head. Nothing to do with anything William has done or protecting anyone. William is talking about how connected he and Audrey are, Nathan gets (and looks) super pissed and shoots him.

• I'm enjoying William. Now that he's not pretending anything he's pretty fun to watch. He's so unrepentantly amoral and confident and just does not give a fuck beyond his one goal and I'm enjoying it. I do wonder why he shot Duke since it wasn't really necessary. Jealousy, or punishing Audrey, or just because he felt like it right then?

• So William and original!Audrey created the Troubles. They enjoyed them. This + William thinking of everyone else/humans as lesser and their long lives = ??? Aliens, beings from another universe, gods? Q? How does this tie in to Howard saying she was 'very human'? And then Audrey was set on her cyclical saviour gig as punishment. I wonder if them being tied together has something to do with their punishment as well or if they really are that connected to each other. Personally of the possible explanations I'm kind of hoping for gods.

• I didn't love this AU!Nathan. He was just so awkward. But I did like that a) he traded Cliff for his family, and b) then went back to help Cliff.

• Audrey's list of potential William targets included: Nathan, Duke, Dwight, Clair, Garland, Julia, Eleanor, Rudy, Gloria and Jordan. Now this is a list of people that Audrey cares about. That's who William threatened. So for the most part it makes complete sense - I was pleased to see Clair and the Carr's both on there - but I was a bit surprised about Rudy and Gloria's inclusion (friendly sure but people that she's close to?) and very surprised about Jordan's inclusion (I mean I would have loved if they became friends or even frenemies but... they didn't). The main thing I'm getting from this list though is that Audrey really doesn't have a life outside of her job. Everyone she could think of is connected to it. It's kind of sad.
