I liked it.
• Malia was completely delightful and my favourite character of the episode. I liked her well enough last season but I loved her here. I love how no-nonsense and plain speaking she is. I liked that she didn't back off asking questions, even though they made everyone uncomfortable, because it was stuff she needed to know. I liked her immediately taking off after the unknown creature that was stalking them.
Also she is hilarious. I loved her completely not understanding why they shouldn't just leave without Lydia. And this: "If hunting had been bad that season, I would eat her." LMAO.
• "I would never leave without you. Them, I would leave." - Malia. Hee. Malia/Stiles were pretty cute this ep too. I really liked this scene.
• I loved the final twist of Derek being de-aged. Love it.
• I loved everything about the Malia/Kira dancing. Malia being completely unphased by the hunters searching for them, Kira's adorably terrible awkward dancing, Malia's expression at Kira's dancing (lol), Malia helping Kira to dance better and the two of them getting into it before taking out a couple hunters together. I could ship it.
• I also really like that when Malia took off Kira immediately ran after her.
• I wasn't very fond of the glowing nunchucks. Those were silly.
• "You don't want him anyway. Haven't you noticed what a downer he is? No sense of humor, poor conversationalist." - Stiles re: Derek. LOL. Poor Derek.
• I loved everyone going to Mexico to save Derek. It just makes me happy. And this is the second time now that Braeden has saved Derek.
• What the hell was the point of Araya torturing Scott, and using Kira to do it, other then straight up sadism/cruelty? Her excuse that he wouldn't have believed her otherwise really doesn't hold any weight.
- Also wouldn't that have been the perfect chance for Kira to fight back. I don't remmeber exactly how her powers work but couldn't she have taken the electricity from the panel and used it on the hunters? Or would she have needed an open spark?
• You'd think that Malia and Kira, being a coyote and a fox, would be able to see better in the dark.
