Human Trials

• The reunions made me so happy.

- The Clarke/Bellamy one was the absolute best. I loved the way Clarke just went running into Bellamy's arms, and the way he was caught off guard and just kind of stood there awkwardly for a couple moments before putting his arms around her, and how tightly they held each other. And then their long gaze after they pulled away. ♥

- My second favourite was Clarke/Raven. I love that Raven waited outside the tent all night. I love their expressions when they saw each other, so happy and relieved, and their hug.

- The Clarke/Octavia hug was nice.

- I liked the Abby/Clarke reunion too though it didn't really hit melike I was expecting. In fact I'd actually forgotten that Clarke thought her mother was dead. Still they had some nice scenes.

• All the Clarke side of the story stuff was great.

- I loved that after Abby laid down the law Clarke barely waited for her to gone before turning to Bellamy and telling him they'd need guns, lol.

- I loved Raven helping them - and being Raven getting shit done (ie: getting them guns and out of camp).

- I loved that they'd planned to bring Octavia from the beginning. The exchange between Octavia and Bellamy when she demanded to allowed to go to and Bellamy's amused expression was kind of adorable. How far the Blake siblings have come.

- I also loved how palpable Raven's desire to go with them was. Poor Raven.

- The campfire chat between Bellamy and Clarke was lovely. I loved them reassuring each other that they both did what had to be done and just generally being supportive. I've missed them as co-leaders.

• I love that Mount Weather created the reapers. Of course they did. That makes so much more sense than the radiation doing it and it's a pretty clever idea too.

"What would Clarke do?" - Monty. ♥ Monty is so great. He should be given more to do. I love that he was immediately willing and ready to go after Clarke. I love that he stayed by Jasper's side the entire night.

• The Raven/Abby scene was great. I really love their relationship. I love how sympathetic Raven was even after Abby slapped her. She understood Abby's frustration and despair and forgave her immediately. And then followed it up with a hard truth: "She stopped being a kid the day you sent her down here to die." - Raven. Ouch. And yet so true.

• The Finn/Murphy team up ended up being a lot more enjoyable than I was expecting. Well, one part of it was - Murphy being forced to be the reasonable, peace-talking one added to him having to deal with someone impulsive and violent is just utterly hilarious to me. Not enough LOL in the world. It's the best.

• Finn and his still kind of random descent into - whatever the hell is wrong with him, is not so fun to watch. It's like with Bellamy firmly a good guy now and Murphy doing a redemption arc the show needed one of the 100 to be the unpredictable/violent/asshole person. Why Finn I don't know. He's never been a character I loved but he was a good guy and I was starting to like him at times at the end of last season/early this season.

But with this episode he's pretty much hit unredeemable levels. His "I found you" to Clarke while the innocent, unarmed people he'd just mowed down lay dying and dead around them was disturbing, sad and horrifying. What the hell happened to him? I have no idea how the show is going to bring him back from this and I don't know how much I care. Honestly the part that leaves me most annoyed/frustrated with his turn is how little explanation or build up it was giving. I still don't understand why or how he got to the point where he could mow down a bunch of unarmed people. I find I really want to see Raven's reaction to this.
