Episode 10

+ I loved the parents joining an anti-fan group for In Ah as their contribution to the mission. All their scenes were fun.

+ In Ah's assistant pointing out that the 'ill mannered wealthy chaebol' is In Ah made me laugh.

+ Yeah, that is totally a date, you're fooling no one Kang Woo. That's a lie - he's fooling both Myung Wol and himself but still a date. Also really sweet.

Episode 11

+ LOL to In Ah's assistant joining Myung Wol's fanclub. I love the way that she just matter-of-factly states that she's a fan. Kind of sad that she's been fired because I find her really amusing.

+ This was a lovely episode for Ryu/Myung Wol. I loved him bringing a screen for Myung Wol to do her makeup behind and then even acting as her door by standing in front of her. It was really sweet. Then him bringing her food later.

+ Why didn't Myung Wol just find another room, even a closet, or a bathroom to put her makeup on in? It's a little thing but it bugged me.

+ I feel a little bad for In Ah in that she's having a difficult time - the guy she likes ignores her and brushes her off, she has an anti-fan club that says mean things about her and now the girl her crush likes is getting all the recognition at their shared job and displacing her. But at the same time I don't really because she really brings it on herself. Plus it would help if she wasn't such a spoiled, unpleasant brat.

+ Also In Ah running to her grandfather to ruin Myung Wol after catching Kang Woo sitting outside her door was really dumb and short-sighted.

Episode 12

+ Kang Woo and Myung Wol were really adorable. I loved their 'I love you' scene at his house. "After I record it I can listen to it whenever I want", awwww how sweet is that? I loved his reaction when she said it over and over. And then he goes and follows it up with "Even if I listen to it for a lifetime it won't be enough." He is so in love with her it's ridiculous. Ridiculously charming and endearing.

+ I love that even in her dreams Kang Woo is a big failboat and she ends up having to run to his rescue.

+ The parents playing Kang Woo like a fiddle was amusing.

+ Apparently In Ah's 'assistant' is actually her younger sister Kyung Joo. That actually explains so much about the relationship between the two and it makes me like them even more. Kyung Joo being so bratty and the fact that she brought a gift basket of In Ah's least favourite food amused.

I'm very curious about why the show hadn't had her interacting with her grandfather at all? That's just such a weird decision especially considering how involved he is in In Ah's life.

+ Kang Woo forcing Dae-kang to set up his romantic proposal spot instead of doing it himself amused me because of course he would. The big doof. Apparently I find that as endearing as Myung Wol does.

Episode 13

Wow, this was the episode of pain.

+ Myung Wol's gentle squashing of Ryu's unspoken feeling was painful. "You were like a father to me." OUCH. Poor Ryu. And then at the end... this might actually be the most painful end to a secondary lead/heroine relationship in a way. He as never even a possibility for who which has to sting. I felt bad for her when Ryu was sort of confessing - she thinks of him as a beloved father figure so how awful and uncomfortable to learn he's in love with her.

+ That said this could also be good. Myung Wol chosing to stay with Ryu when he asked instead of going to Kang Woo when he called really surprised me. It shows in action that he is as important to her as she was saying. That was nice.

+ Then there's Kang Woo and his reaction to her betrayal - bitter passive-agressiveness with see-sawing anger and semi-violentness and just generally being a jackass. All episode. Not surprising and certainly understandable but if he'd just confronted her it could have been so much less painful. The worst of it was definitely the scene in her room where he pushed her against the wall and propositioned her - all as a lash out against a hiding Ryu who he knew was there.

+ Poor Myung Wol spent the episode confused about what was going on with Kang Woo and dealing with Ryu's feelings. I do have to shake my head at how long it took her to figure out what was wrong with Kang Woo - there were so many clues and he wasn't exactly subtle.

+ Of course Ryu kind of failed as a spy too - why the heck was he talking about their mission with her out in the open like that?? What a dumb place to have that talk. Was he subconsciously trying to sabotage them/the mission?

+ I don't even know what to say about the sex - sooooo dysfunctional on both their parts and yet I kind of enjoyed that. Their relationship seems made entirely of wacky hijinks and angst so this kind of fits. I was definitely shaking my head at both of them for thinking having sex would actually make things better (end his doubt about her motives, convince him she loved him) but then it actually seemed to work. He did put away his doubts and accepted she loved him. I'm skeptical it would have lasted long-term but if Ryu hadn't shown up it would have pulled them back together for a little while.

+ I did love that slice of morning after with him teasing her and then both being all happy. It was a little whiplashy but cute.
