Person of Interest 2x11 - 2x14 Thoughts

+ "That line you're talking about? I crossed it a long time ago." - Carter. This was great because I was expecting her to keep having doubts about the lines she's crossing every time she crossed a new one so it was unexpected that she'd already decided to fully commit her loyalty to Team Machine. I loved that she already had the Reese situation in hand.
+ It was nice to see Finch and Fusco working together.
+ Carter looked gorgeous in the dress.
+ I loved Finch's pleased look when Beckner was telling the class about 'the most notorious hacker of them all' who made it possible for the internet to become an open forum.
2x12 'Prisoner's Dilemma'
+ I loved everything to do with Reese/Elias. I've always enjoyed their interactions but I ended up really shipping them here. And I'm pretty sure Elias ships them to. Between "I was pissed for awhile. But the truth is, John, you will always be the man who came out of no where and saved my life. I want you to think of me as a friend." and "(grinning) You and me working together. Very exciting, John. and his expression during and after John's beating all I want is more of them being forced into working together (well, John forced, it's clear Elias will do it happily.)
+ I loved Bear recognising Reese's voice. ♥
+ Finch was awesome.
+ Carter was awesome
+ LOL to Finch being all suited up and with a gun ready to save Reese with a breakout at the end.
+ I felt bad for Agent Donnelly. Yeah, he went too extreme but he wasn't wrong that there was a conspiracy. He was alone and felt increasingly paranoid about what the truth was and then discovered the one person he trusted completely was actually working with the person they were hunting and was betraying him.
+ I liked the Machine setting off all the phones to get Finch's attention and that it didn't stop until Finch answered. I love that Finch answered. Even though he was worried about Reese and Carter in the end helping people is important to him and he couldn't just ignore a cry for help.
+ I wasn't a fan of Fusco's subplot and how it was played for laughs. Specifically I didn't like that he was basically abandoned to protect the model on his own. I loved that he managed it and saved her but that his need for help was ignored rubs me the wrong way.
2x13 'Dead Reckoning'
+ Lovely, lovely episode for Finch/Reese. I liked that Finch predicated that Reese would end up on the roof and was waiting for him. I loved Finch refusing to leave - "I'm not leaving you here, John." - and Reese trying to force him to leave for his own protection. I really loved that Finch did stay with Reese till the end even though there was a one in three chance of dying with him. Then on John's side there's: I'm pretty sure I'd be dead already if you hadn't found me." and his attempts to keep Finch away and the thank you at the end. I love their relationship.
+ "We'll get him back Bear. I promise." - Finch ♥
+ Snow taking Kara out with him was awesome and 100% deserved. I loved it. But that said it's really too bad because Kara was a really clever and dangerous villain and I think she would have been fun to keep in play longer.
+ Sooo... Finch sold/gave the laptop to the Chinese? Is that was implied in the flashbacks? What even is the laptop? Access to The Machine? The knowledge on how to create another one?
+ I loved Finch calling Carter 'Joss' for the first time.
+ I'm disappointed by how much on the outside of the team dynamics Fusco still is. That's pretty much been true all along but I was hoping it'd change quicker. He made a couple overtures to Carter but she stalled him each time [deferring to Finch to bring him in on the details, not opening up at the end]. Back when the truth came out I was hopeful that Fusco would become a trusted member of the team but instead he continues to merely work for them (unlike Carter who is very firmly working with them). I like that for the most part they have each others backs (I loved him giving Carter back her earring and the scene at the end when he urges her out of the building) but it'd be nice to see Fusco and Carter at least moving towards true partnership. (Of course, he'll need to fess up on the latest HR happenings before that's a real possibility.]
+ Reese and Bear's reunion was adorable.
2x14 'One Percent'
+ How many cover identity's does Finch have for John?
+ "We may be partners, we may even be friends but I'm still a cop." - Carter. Huh. I hadn't realised just how much Carter still distrusted Fusco. It's interesting because we have seen her breaking all sorts of rules for Reese. She does it every episode, sometimes huge laws at that. She is very committed to protecting John. And yet she doesn't extend that to Fusco. She may allow that he is her friend but I don't think they actually are. Sad. Now that I've realised how much she does still distrust him things make a lot more sense. And she's not even that wrong considering the secrets he's keeping. That said the very obvious double standard she's keeping with Reese makes me feel protective of Fusco. He may have started as a dirty cop but he only continued in that role because he was forced to and he's done a lot of work to ake up for it/fix his mistakes.
+ The Detective Davidson disappearance Carter is looking into would actually be easy enough for Fusco to explain to her and it doesn't even reflect that badly on him! He destroyed a undercover agent's file (for Team Machine) to protect him from HR of which Davidson was a part of. Davidson took him into the woods to kill him, Reese killed Davidson instead and then forced Fusco to cover it up so he could remain undercover for them in HR. Boom, explanation that's the truth while not being morally wrong.
Random thought: I would love to see one of the numbers they saved come back in a future episode and prove crucial to saving their lives or helping them to save someone else.
