In Extremis

+ I loved the Carter/Reese phone call. It highlighted how torn up she was about the Fusco situation. On one hand, she's disgusted with him, all her belief's say he should be locked up. On the other, as she tells Reese - "But it's Fusco. It's not as simple as that." He's her partner. She's seen the good he does, has seen how much he cares. It's one thing to say in the abstract that she won't help but when the time comes it's not actually that easy. I loved that she tried to take the easy road and called Reese to see what he was going to do. Tried to push Fusco's fate into John's hands to keep herself from making a choice.

+ I love that in the end Carter had Fusco's back even though it was an agonising decision for her. I'm excited to see where their relationship goes from here.

+ Carter walking around the station with the same muddy shoes she used to dog up a grave and a dog with muddy feet was pretty dumb. If they're looking at someone who'd help Fusco she seems an obvious suspect and the muddy feet is really suspicious.

+ "Do you know what's he done?" Um, seriously Carter? It's funny to hear her say that to Reese of all people. It's like at this point Reese operates on a whole different scale with her than everyone else.

+ I love that Carter refused to help Team Machine without some quid pro quo for once.

+ Why was Fusco so accepting that he was going to go down? Why the hell wouldn't he have tried to get a hold of Reese or Finch?

+ It would have been far more interesting if Fusco had chosen to become a dirty cop instead of apparently falling into it against his will because of the bad influence of friends.
