Mary Stayed Out All Night Thoughts
Jul. 5th, 2011 09:54 pmEpisode 12
I find that I'm getting tired of this show and I just want to start a new series. There are moments I enjoy but my interest has waned a lot. I am going to finish it because there are only four episodes left and I don't want to drop it so close to the end.
- There was a lot of Mae Ri and Moo Kyul doing ridiculous things and just generally being ridiculous. In the debate about where to sleep why didn’t Mae Ri just take the couch? When Mae Ri’s dad went storming over to Moo Kyul’s place why did they hide in a dumpster when it was right at the corner and they could have just ran around it? Hell, why didn’t they just stay in and lock the door and then not answer when he banged on it? Then their panic at the end had me rolling my eyes – she could have hid in the bathroom or he could have gone out to meet her dad.
- It bugs me that Mae Ri just lets everyone’s assumption/belief that she gave the ring to So Young stand because she didn’t.
- I bet that So Young and Dae Han are going to get together before the end of the series. Once they agreed that they wouldn't see each other as romantic possibilities it became a sure thing.
- I did enjoy Moo Kyul and Jung In messing with each other. Jung In having to turn his face away because he couldn’t stop grinning after slamming on the brakes amused me. I didn’t like Jung In using his call from Mae Ri to get to Moo Kyul though because it was him using her to poke at Moo Kyul - while she was there (sort of).
- Moo Kyul pressing his face into the curtain made me think ‘creepy’ more than anything. Like one of those ghosts from horror movies.
- The discord between Moo Kyul and his bandmates felt very forced.
- Jung In saving Mae Ri at the table with a smooth explanation for the ring switch and then being so accepting of it and kind to her afterwards really was sweet.
