I really enjoyed it.

• Victoria's alive! Ha, I knew it! I can't really tell much by what little we saw of her. Her being so scared and freaked out when Ben was murdered makes sense if she knew nothing of the assassin but I couldn't get a read on her expression before Ben's death.

• Charlotte! I was so excited and happy to see her. I've been fairly neutral on her - I went back and forth on liking her and finding her annoying, leaning more to the latter. But her absense in the latter half of this season never made much sense especially after Daniel's death. She should have been on the show.

This was such a great return for her too. It was really nice to see her so together and at peace with herself. Her giving Louise permission to take anything of Victoria's that she wanted "to give you solace" was a genuinely kind thing to do.

Like David I was expecting Charlotte to be more obviously conflicted/sad in reaction to Victoria's death but I guess we aren't seeing her initial reaction. Still despite that feeling off I have to admit to a little thrill at Charlotte's viciousness about her mother. I kind of rolled my eyes and was annoyed when Victoria stated that Emily cost her Charlotte but maybe she really did lose her (though not because of Emily).

"I don’t know which Victoria Grayson you met but mine was the most manipulative human that I’ve known." Considering she knows Emily that’s saying something! I also loved: "The only amazing thing about Victoria was her ability to get what she wanted no matter the cost." That was kind of delightful.

Staying away from the insanity is probably a smart idea considering how well Charlotte's doing but damn it I want her with her family. Considering how little family she had left, considering David's cancer she should be on the first flight out there. I want scenes between her and her dad, of them finally getting to know each other. I want Charlotte and Emily to have a chance to be sisters. (I want to know what was in Emily's letter to her.) I want Charlotte there to support Emily. I don't know if I'd ever be able to consider it a truly happy ending if Charlotte is not back with the other two Clarkes rebuilding their family. Charlotte had better be in the final and I will be really mad if we don't get a David/Charlotte and Emily/Charlotte scene.

• Dare I hope for a resurgence of Louise/Nolan? They finally had a really great scene again and even though I'm still annoyed by everything with Louise in the last couple episodes I will get completely over it if they kiss and makeup in the finale. I just loved them so much! They were so great together.

"Louise you are one of the most loyal people that I know and that is a quality I truly adore in you." I love this because I completely believe him and it gives me hope that he'll forgive her (after she apologises because he deserves an apology.)

• Of course, despite loving the Nolan/Louise scene there were two serious WTF moments that I'm actually still kind of WTFing over. See:

"Victoria Grayson was my own personal guardian angel." and "Victoria Grayson was the only person in this world who looked out for me."

... WTF, Louise!? The fact that she said that to Nolan of all people is mind-boggling. When Victoria wouldn't give her the time of day Nolan became her friend. He gave her support and someone to lean on. Then he helped her figure out she was being drugged, flipping married her so she would get control of her estate, and then helped prove it was her mother who killed her father and finally got her out of Louise's life. Are you kidding me?! Nolan has done more for her than anyone in her life. What is she talking about?! I seriously want Emily to sit her down and just list that out for her and then ask her 'wtf, Louise'. After the second one Nolan tells her "You know that’s not true." which is giving me hope.

+ Oh, please don't let Louise be fooled by Margaux, please, please.

"Where did you learn to fight so hard?" - David. Some really lovely stuff between them. This scene was especially good. I loved seeing Emily get so emotional. [But seriously someone needs to call Charlotte and bring her home for family time too.]

• I loved the whole setup to get Margaux in jail and Emily's confrontation with her.

• The Jack/Emily scene on the porch was lovely. I never really shipped them but I always knew they were end game and this scene was nice. I want Emily to get a happy ending and clearly for her that means being with Jack. I particularly loved Jack's reactions in that scene and his little overjoyed laugh after she went back in, like he still couldn't believe that he was actually getting everything he always wanted.

• I'm so disappointed in Margaux.

• David demanding to know why Jack 'let' Emily go and Jack's reaction amused me. I feel like we had a similar scene in a previous season between Jack and another character with him in the opposite role.

• There was zero need for it to be Emily who went after Mason. I like that her need to do things herself and always be in control got her caught as she should have been. Though she certainly has a better defence than most people - not trusting the justice system upon being set up is certainly an understandable reaction from Amanda Clarke.

• Aw, poor Ben. He was a dick to Emily in the last episode and his behaviour towards her felt very bitter. However in this episode, even at the beginning, the bitterness felt a lot less present. I like that he was a good cop and followed evidence. I'm kind of annoyed that he was also a bad cop and broke into Mary's house by himself instead of going through the proper channels. Also shouldn't he have a partner or other people working on the case with him? I am glad that he knew Emily was telling the truth before he died.

• Man, Victoria/Margaux/Mason are so bad at this revenge game. It literally took days for Team Revenge to start unravelling their web. How are they going to explain Ben's disappearance/death? If he was any kind of cop then he has records of his investigation at his desk. This is a high profile case so I'm sure he's had to keep his bosses in the loop. Nolan has photographic proof that Mason is alive and with a LaMarchal car. The missing body of Mary Gaines. It's only a matter of time before Team Revenge picks it completely apart.
