It was okay.
+ The opening Liz/Dembe scene was delightful and everything I have wanted from them. ♥ Yes, please more of this. I loved all of it - Liz tending his wounds, Liz fussing over him, Dembe comforting her, this: "Stubborn. Sweet, stubborn." Liz's little smile and then when she moves Dembe's smile. It was adorable.
+ I love Dembe's complete confidence in Red. There is no doubt in his mind that Red with be successful in protecting Liz and clearing her name.
+ Liz didn't actually do a lot this episode. Mostly she was just there beside Red as he did his thing. But I kind of love that and how seemlessly she fit in as one of Red's people, as Dembe's counterpoint.
+ The Red/Director call was great. "I’m going to bring this whole damn thing down on you, Peter. And when I do your own people will beg me to kill you to stop the bleeding." Loved this. I also loved Red watching sleeping Liz throughout the call and his smile at her after he hangs up.
+ I liked the Red/Crispin conversation and I loved Red shooting him.
+ I like the team working together against the Director while at the same time they're not necessarily on team Red nor completely on the same wavelength with each other. Samar and Ressler are still at odds on how they see the whole situation.
+ Tom narrating out how the fight would play out and then it going exactly like that was great.
+ Tom killing Asher, even if it was under duress, was definitely crossing a line.
+ I hope that there's more to Red's plan than blackmailing the Director. There has to be. This can't be the weakness that his lawyer saw in the Fulcrum, right? That's too... simple.
I also feel like they could have done something more interesting in that safe deposit box them money - even millions skimmed from the Cabel to use as an escape. Like, say the Director has been collecting blackmail information/imprtant info on other members of the Cabel without their knowledge.
+ Is there a reason that much lighter Liz wasn't sent into the bank? Because it would seem more obvious for her to go instead of Red.
+ So who told Red about the Director's new placement in the task force? Aram? I hope it was Aram.
