Healer Episode 7 Thoughts
Apr. 13th, 2017 09:58 pmThis was a great episode.
+ Min-ja's reactions to Young-jae's creeping on Young-shin were great.
+ I loved Young-shin's smile when Moon-ho told her to call him sunbae and how she had to literally shake herself out of her pleasure over it.
+ Jung-hoo's annoyance with Moon-ho talking to Young-shin and him shoving himself between them, three times!, was great. I enjoy when he uses his Bong-soo persona to his advantage.
+ I'm really amused by the idea of Young-shin's dad inadvertently being a mafia boss which is kind of what he looked like when all the ex-cons bowed to him.
+ Jung-hoo beating President Hwang really surprised me! I did not see that coming at all. It was rather satisfying but at the same time that's a pretty iffy step for Jung-hoo to take. Plus President Hwang is not at all the type of person who would learn any empathy from that.
+ Moon-ho was a little harsh in his teachings but I think the scene worked well.
+ The flashback with Moon-ho and Ji-an was super adorable. He was so good with her and their love for each other shone through. I loved how overcome with emotion he was in the present.
+ Young-jae was a dick to bring up Moon-shik's feelings in front of Myung-hee but he also wasn't wrong.
+ Young-shin asking Jung-hoo if he was her biological father - LOL! That actually got a laugh. I love the fact that she figured out that he was doing a DNA test (and his smile in reaction to her asking was excellent) and her theory that he was hired to look out for her. The entire roof scene was great. I loved her reaching out to touch him and him pressing her hand against his chest. I was really expecting him to kiss her.
+ Jung-hoo blackmailing Moon-shik to clear his name of the murder charge was a great idea.
+ So Myung-hee recognised Jung-hoo as his father Joon-seok... except he's dead, no? And he was one of Myung-hee's closest friends so she should know that. Saying Joon-seok out of surprise is understandable if the resemblance is that strong but she seemed to think it was him? What's up with that?
