I enjoyed this one a lot.
+ Eleanor/Michael continue to be delightful. I love how much this version of Eleanor is similar to Michael and that they just gel as a pair. They were super in sync this ep and it was fun. I mean Eleanor called him a “messy bench” and high-fived him over his plan to break up Tahani/Jason. It was hilarious. She's into it and so am I. Also their little moment at the end and how happy Eleanor was that Michael stopped by just because he wanted to talk with her was nice.
+ The threesome of Michael/Eleanor/Chidi is absolutely one I’m enjoying but I do hope Jason and Tahani will start being integrated back with the main plot more.
+ I really appreciate the build of a genuine Eleanor/Janet friendship. I love that during her fight with Derek she called all of them ‘my friends’.
+ Eleanor’s perfect rebound guy would be "Stone Cold Steve Austin’s head on Tahani’s body." Or vice-versa. Love it.
+ 'Professor buzzkill', ha.
+ Chidi’s expression after their first meeting with Derek was hilarious. He has the best expressions.
+ Tahani and Jason have a lovely friendship. I love that he actually got her to have fun playing a nonsense game (her gleeful cheering when he knocked down the champagne tower was great) and his appreciation for the flower crown she made him was nice. I think being friends brings out good things in both of them. That said I find the romance aspect sad because I feel like it mostly just highlights how lonely and desperate they both are for acceptance and love. They’re jumping into a romantic relationship when I don’t think they do actually think of each other like that.
