Agents of Shield 5x06 - 5x09 Thoughts

iaria5x06 'Fun & Games'
+ The Jemma/Daisy scene was really lovely. A part of me loves the idea that Jemma is being sold as a companion to Daisy (to be used as a motivator) and wouldn’t mind reading that fic.
+ Both fight scenes were great.
+ I really loved the team’s escape especially Jemma slitting Kasius’s throat.
+ Tess’s off-screen death annoyed me. It felt too abrupt. Poor Ben’s death worked much better.
+ Fitz playing Marauder worked so well following his stint as the Doctor in the Framework and you can see him drawing on those memories as he cozies up to Kasius. His act was scarily believable in part because a small part of it wasn’t an act.
5x07 'Together of Not At All'
+ Super loved Sinara/Kasius. Their last scene was killer. I loved Sinara acting as if she might accept his brother’s offer to see just how far Kasius would go to keep her by his side. Plus torturing him a little was probably a side benefit after the events of the last episode. I loved her satisfaction when he killed his brother. I liked how they set up the brother’s death with the conversation between the brothers over weapons earlier in the episode. Sinara was great throughout.
+ Fitz brought a couple moments of much needed humour and my favourite was: ”Nah, wouldn't be fair. I do push-ups now. Double-digits.” Hee.
+ It felt way too easy to remove Jemma’s ear implant.
5x09 'Best Laid Plans'
+ I loved Daisy teasing May about being a mom.
+ I’m really sad about Sinara’s death. I was so into her and her relationship with Kasius especially after 5x07 and then the show didn’t really give us anything else before killing her off. :( I was really hoping that she'd survive the confrontation to be used as a hostage. On the other hand as far as characters I like dying this is one of the easiest to walk back from. First, the team is obviously going to go back and save the Earth and so in the new timeline/past she's alive. Second, Kasius came bring people back from the dead. (I actually completely forgot about that aspect of the Kree.]
+ It was nice to see Tess again. Suddenly her abrupt death makes more sense to me.
+ I liked Mack and Yo-Yo's plan and them getting the better of Kasius was great.
+ Kasius knowing Yo-Yo was pretty interesting. I wonder if original timeline Yo-Yo is the person Kasius has at the end as a 'seer'?
