+ As soon as Fanfan helped Yuuri out of the carriage I started laughing. Them dressed as women to get into the ball – perfect. I love it. But what really makes it all perfect is Yuuri and how he reacts and handles the situation. I would have thought Wolfram would handle the cross-dressing with aplomb and certainly a whole lot better the Yuuri. I mean Wolfram’s the one happily planning on wearing a wedding dress at their wedding. So his anger and disdain at wearing the dress is kind of weird. Is it because he was forced into it?
It’s even weirder because Yuuri on the other hand ends up the one dealing it with aplomb and calmness, and sure there’s also awkwardness, but overall he’s very accepting about it to the point where he’s firmly heading towards Yozak level ease. I love it. Especially when you consider how season one Yuuri would have reacted (ie. more like Wolfram).
+ Yuuri looked fabulous. He was completely kawaii (and yes I have to use the Japanese word for cute because it in itself is cute and that is just how cute he is). Possibly Wolfram’s anger is because Yuuri is cuter then him? I loved Yuuri’s wig and he actually made a really pretty girl (even for this show).
Wolfram, on the other hand, not so much. The lack of wig could have been fine but the dress was all wrong for him. The orange colour is practically the only colour that would have looked bad on him, why couldn’t they have chosen anything else? Personally red or green would have looked great.
+ Then we get the fact that Yuuri ends up basically playing out Cinderella which was hysterical. Saralegi helping him up and then asking him to dance, the dance itself with everyone watching and being all ‘ooo, aaaa’, Yuuri dropping his rose hair clip and then running up the stairs and away.... hahahaha. Oh, I love it.
+ Yuuri’s thoughts during the dance and after about Saralegi also made me smile: “Wow, he really is a prince. So beautiful... He’s a match for Wolfram. What a soft smile... If I were a girl he’d have hit it out of the park.” Oh, Yuuri. Also: he thinks Wolfram is beautiful!
+ I’m rather intrigued by Saralegi and I want more Yuuri/Saralegi interactions. Also the way Saralegi’s glasses cloud over just like Murata’s is interesting and I feel like it has to mean something. Especially considering that we’re getting some backstory now on some of Murata’s past lives.
+ It appears that Conrad/Yuuri hasn’t really disappeared since here we get them sensing each other’s presence which is really neat.
