Haven 2x03 Review

• “You’re not as nice as the blond one are you?” – Duke. Hee.
• I love that Audrey and Nathan are keeping Duke in the loop.
• I ♥ Audrey II and the two Audreys together. I want Audrey II to stick around forever and ever. Them reminiscing about their shared past will never get old and I love how close they are getting.
• “I just rented it to the Audreys.” – Duke. LOL. Wait, they’re moving in together above Duke’s place?! *glee* There is nothing about that that is not awesome. The Audreys as roommates! Duke as their landlord! I am so excited. This is the best thing ever.
• “I’ve always hated that thing. If it comes to life I’m a goner.” – Nathan. Hee.
• So ‘Audrey’ plays the piano even though Audrey Parker doesn’t – why is she remembering now? Is it a timing thing – because Audrey II arrived, because after a length of time she just starts to remember – or would she have always been able to play unconsciously but has never sat down at a piano and tried before? I wonder what else she can do.
• The Audrey II/Duke conversation didn’t really work for me. Audrey telling Duke about Brad felt weird. Why would she open up like that and to Duke with whom she has no relationship with?
• Why would Audrey II go up there alone? This definitely seems to be a situation where backup would be wanted. She had no idea what could be up there.
• Duke calling out “Audrey Two” made me smile.
• Oh, crap! Audrey II forgot. It was a trap all along for Audrey.
• “You’re my friend. We’re like sisters.” – Audrey. Aww. I liked this scene.
• I’m not pleased about Audrey calling Brad. Wouldn’t it make more sense to keep her in Haven to try and help her remember? Audrey states that they need someone to ‘take care of her’ but - why? She lost her memory; she’s not an invalid. I guess they could be worried about her safety which I suppose is reasonable enough.
- It also bugged me that while Audrey II ended up recognising Brad and remembering him to some degree they were really just going to send her off with a stranger – both to her and to them.
• Is there a reason that Audrey II had a hard time remembering Audrey’s name when she was leaving? Would she have forgotten Duke as well or is it just about Audrey? Audrey II leaving would have worked better for me if the show had, say, shown that being around Audrey causes her to forget and that’s why they called Brad.
• If Audrey had been the one to get to that location first would she have just disappeared like the building? My guess is that if she had gone her memory would have been erased, she would have disappeared from Haven and then implanted with a new set of memories. This is looking really bad.
• I’m sad that we’re not going to get The Two Audreys show but I am pleased that Audrey moved above The Grey Gull anyway. Hopefully this means we’ll get more Audrey/Duke scenes which have felt lacking this season.
