The Good Place 3x13 Thoughts

+ I loved Eleanor becoming the Architect of the new Neighbourhood. That is going to be so fun. I liked Michael getting exited by being Eleanor's assistant.
+ Eleanor/Michael were great. I loved her trying to prep-talk Michael.
+ I felt so bad for Chidi and especially Eleanor. But, tbh, I'm rather glad that this version of Chidi/Eleanor has been cut short. Them falling in love didn't work as well for me this time. It felt too quick. Chidi was in love with Simone (they dated for a year) and broke up with her only to protect her and then very shortly after 'realised' he was in love with Eleanor? It really felt like the show was relying on our knowledge of the previous seasons to sell them rather than making this version make sense. I hope next season builds them better when they inevitably happen again. That said, they were as great as ever. I loved their flirtiness at the cafe.
+ Michael's Eleanor/Chidi fanvid was lovely. That shot of them in the boat was beautiful, I loved the casualness of her running up to him to kiss him goodbye before leaving, and them dancing in the rain was wonderful.
+ "I got you, dog." - Janet. That last scene between Janet and Eleanor was wonderful.
+ I love that Chidi tricked Eleanor into reading Paradise Lost because Satan was her type, and her and Janet agreeing that it's very on brand for her.
+ I loved that Tahini realised on her own the trap Shaun had laid for her with John and her refusing to fall back into old bad habits. I loved how proud Janet looked of her.
+ I'm really excited to have Simone back.
+ Eleanor's "yeah we know babe" to Tahani made me hope that, instead of another retread of Eleanor/Chidi, next season finally explores Eleanor's bisexuality (I've noticed her rainbow clothing) and we get Eleanor/Tahani. But I'd also take Eleanor/Simone!
+ I enjoyed Shaun and his evilness a lot. He's actually pretty good at his job!
+ I'm very curious about who the next two humans are going to be. I wonder if Pillboi or Donkey Doug would have a worse affect on Jason? Who even could be brought in for Eleanor? Anyone she knew on Earth would instantly destroy her identity as the Architect so it has to be someone she doesn't know. You know it would be really fun if the show brought in a celebrity that Eleanor has obsessed over to play themselves (a la James Van Der Beek in Don't Trust the B in Apartment 23.)
