Roswell, New Mexico 1x13 Thoughts

I'm pretty sure Max is not actually dead for good and I'm assuming they're going to dump him into one of the pods? Or Isobel and Michael will work together and discover their ability to heal and bring him back?
I loved Isobel and Michael talking about love after the Noah confrontation, the reveal that Isobel has always known about Alex, and Michael opening up with her about his feelings.
I should have known immediately when Isobel didn't run to Michael side - he was unconscious and surrounded by blood - that it wasn't her but I was mostly just feeling annoyed. So that possession reveal, in that aspect, made this better for me. On the other hand, I'm annoyed that once again she was possessed and then got sidelined.
Why didn't Isobel and Michael sense when Max started over using his powers on Rosa and 'died'?
When Noah talked of Rosa in present tense I figured she was alive. But I thought Noah had only made them think she was dead 10 years ago. So her actually being dead but in stasis and Max bringing her back from the dead was unexpected. And a little worrying about the affect this will have on Rosa herself.
Definitely excited to have Rosa back and I really hope next season spends a lot of time on the Rosa/Isobel relationship.
I loved the Kyle and Jesse showdown and how Kyle ultimately chose to deal with him. I really love that he didn't kill Jesse but chose to put him in a drug induced coma instead.
Michael going to see Maria and playing the guitar for the first time in over a decade actually made some sense to me? Alex is so complicated despite the shared love and right now that's not what Michael wants. He wants simple and fun, and to, right then with his hand healed, a chance to enjoy playing that guitar without all that history hanging over the moment. Plus on top of all that Max healed Michael which means Michael can now feel what Max feels and Max is in a very exuberant place for much of the episode.
A little surprised that Michael didn't even bother to check that Max was okay after knocking him out. People die from head wounds like that all the time.
I loved Liz vs Noah, and how smart and capable Liz continues to be.
Noah abandoning his idea to kill Liz because she threw powder in his eyes when he specifically targeted her in the first place makes no sense.
I was so annoyed by Max's "I need him dead". Not everything is about you, Max!
Noah running outside to see Max calling down lightning and being happy about it, and then not even trying to save himself was... weird. I don't understand that and how it matches literally everything else we've seen with him before that point.
Max calling down lightning into his hands and then electrocuting Noah to death was... certainly a thing that happened. But between that and Isobel getting telekinesis I am so here for for the pod squad exploring their abilities.
I want to know what's up with this whole 'Savior' deal. If this is a religious thing - meh. Genetically engineered weapon, okay. I just wish it was the three of them set up as the saviours not simply Max. I hope next season answers why Max and Isobel are so special. Is it the above reason or are they king/princess in this version too? Also why is Michael not special in the same way?
I was disappointed that Noah was killed. I find him and his relationships with the others interesting. Even if he was a serial killer. I thought his past made a lot of his actions understandable - well, except his obsession with Rosa - and I wish they had gone in a different direction with the character.
