iaria9x02 'My Pet Project'
Danielle – Okay. I like the rope top but the skirt is rather meh. I don’t like the dye job.
Fallene – I love it. The whole thing looks great and not at all as if it was made from pet store products. I like how the brown of the top is echoed in the skirt, I love the orange/brown combo (very fall) and the texture and look of the skirt and the leash belt is different and doesn’t just look like a leash tied around the waist.
Anthony – Pretty good. I love the sunflower seed neckline and how it fades into the rest of the birdseed. It looks really good.
Bert – Meh. Very meh. I dislike the back. It’s very boring and... meh. He didn’t put any effort into it.
Julie – Eh. I liked the stripes in the back and the weaving was interesting but not for the whole dress.
Anya – Excellent. The rope-toy halter top looks great. I also liked the leash skirt except the leashes kind of blended into the fabric and were hard to see.
Bryce – Um. My first thought was yikes. I like the colour he choose? But the top and skirt don’t belong together and he went way overboard with the skirt. He needed to edit like half the potty pads out of it.
Kimberly – Interesting. Half the hosing on the top looks good but the other half just makes me feel like it was unfinished but the overall look of the dress is nice.
Josh C – Okay. I don’t really have much to say about it? Mostly I was left thinking that I preferred the cat scratching post belt better. Meh.
Viktor – I really like it! It’s very cute and I like how it was dyed.
Cecelia – Good. I like the how she did the blue/brown bedding for the skirt and the brown for the top. It looks nice.
Olivier – Kind of disappointed actually. The skirt is really stiff and I don’t think the colours of the skirt go with the colour of the top. I do like the shading of the skirt. The top is nice but boring.
Becky – Wow, that is colourful. I kind of like it. It’s put together well and I like the colours together.
Laura – It’s okay. The skirt is very stiff but the look is nice and certainly much better than her first skirt. The top is okay, the weaving is neat.
Josh M –I’m not sure. The top is so colourful, in a neon way, and my first thought was ‘holy ‘80s!’ but I love that it’s made out of rocks and the pattern is neat. I can’t stop looking at it. The skirt is flowy but also see-through especially on the side which I hate.
Top Three: Fallene, Viktor... Anthony. (So close though between him and Anya for me)
Bottom Three: Bert, Bryce, Julie... and since Bert is safe: Josh C.
• Wow was I surprised that everyone hated Fallene’s dress, including Fallene (!), since it was one of my favourites. It’s something I would wear if I could pull it off. Sometimes my opinion is so off from the opinions on the show. I couldn’t believe that she was in the bottom two with it.
• I was also pretty shocked that Josh C ended up going home over Bryce. Just – really? There is no way that Josh C’s boring dress was worse than Bryce’s WTF dress.
9x03 'Go Big or Go Home'
• Anthony/Laura were my pick to win so I was glad Laura ended up winning. I thought their red outfit was beautiful.
• I agreed with Fallene being out. She literally did no work on their outfit even if it was mostly Bryce’s bad idea/work. I am sad to see her go though because she seems like a really sweet person and I loved her dress last week (I don’t care what anyone else thinks).
• Olivier/Anya pairing was surprisingly disappointing. I found their outfit so boring.
• I liked Josh/Julie’s – it was dramatic and interesting. They were creating looks for women on stilts so dramatic is completely acceptable!
9x05 'Off the Track'
• Josh M. is an asshole. I’m irritated he won especially after he couldn’t even get Becky’s name right. It felt like he was rewarded for bad behaviour which is only going to reinforce in his own mind that he was right in his choices and how he acted. He wasn’t.
• I love Anya.
• I felt really bad for Becky.
• Bert is really childish and obstinate. He was also kind of an asshole as well, especially on the runway.
• Viktor had the best outfit and collection so I’m glad he won.
