Josh:
I liked the first look – it was cute.
The second look was ugly.
The third look was... I like the draping and colour of the over-gown or whatever it is but I don’t like that it’s see-through or the material or the black body-suit (?) underneath. It looks like a fancy wrap over a bathing suit. If it’s supposed to be an evening gown it fails completely for me.
Kimberly:
I liked the coat.
I didn’t really like the second outfit.
I loved the grey dress that was shown last. The dress was beautiful and so interesting. I wanted to keep staring at it. Plus the fabric for it was perfect (whereas the use of the same fabric in the skirt of the second outfit didn’t work for me.)
Laura:
I really liked her first outfit. The jacket was nice and I liked the circle pattern, and the skirt was very simple but went with it. It was a good look.
The second dress was boring and very meh.
The final look was nice but there something that doesn’t quite work for me with it. ...The black cuffs on the sleeves? How it fits? The cut of the top? I’m not entirely sure.
Anya:
The black dress was nice. I found the longer front a bit strange but it was pretty.
I liked her second look. I like the colours used.
The final dress was also nice. I liked the drape of the back.
I didn’t see her inspiration in her work – her outfits seemed so simple while the sculptures were convoluted and dimensional and I worried that they were so similar that she’d be dinged about lack of diversity – but the judges talking about the different angles of the draping made me see it.
Viktor:
The leather jacket in the first look is neat. I like it and the top/pants were nice too.
I really liked the skirt in the second look, the top was alright.
The final look seemed like a nice simple black dress but it has this weird ... boning or something at the hips I do not like. Without it the dress would be nothing special but I personally don’t like it.
- Of the looks Anya's were my favourites and I would have cut... Josh.
