Who’s da New King of Hell
+ Beautiful Chloe/Lucifer. I love that it's Chloe's confession that she isn't afraid anymore that lets him find the strength to go full demon form. I love their tearful goodbye and confessions of love at the end.
+ I loved that little moment of shared disdain between Maze and Lucifer over how dumb those demons are.
+ I actually felt a little bad for Dromos when he was telling Lucifer how much they needed him. He wasn't wrong and while I get why Lucifer prefers Earth (duh) he was being selfish in abandoning hiss responsibilities like that.
+ I liked that moment between Chloe and Eve in the alley as they took down a demon together.
+ Lucifer's gift to Linda was sweet. I loved her skeptical "uh huh" reaction when he asserted that he was done with therapy.
+ I liked Maze's quick touch to Chloe's back as she walked past her into the Mayan. I wish we'd gotten to see them make-up.
+ I have to know if the dance number actually happened or if it was all in Lucifer's mind because that Dan run and lift was delightful.
Overall I enjoyed the season. My biggest issue this season was how it ignored or gave short shrift to so many important relationships and I realise the large cast with the shorten season is the cause but they could have balanced it better. Maze's relationships with everyone but Linda were barely there. Lucifer, Amenadiel and Chloe especially. Actually Chloe's relationships outside of Lucifer suffered too. I wish we'd gotten more between her and Linda once she realised they both knew the truth, there should have been more happening with Dan and they didn't really do anything with Maze post-betrayal. Trixie was barely in the season. Ella had no meaningful connection outside of Dan and an occasional scene with Lucifer. The various plotlines also ended up feeling disconnected.
