Positive

Clarke was amazing and wonderful and my favourite as always. This was a great season for EC.

Clarke's possession and how everything in that storyline played out from start to finish was so good. Clarke pretending to be Josephine and Josephine pretending to be Clarke was really fun.

I loved Josephine. She was terrible but delightful. She was great with basically all the characters (though I wanted more Josie/Clarke.) The only negative was her permanently dying because she was great and I would have loved her sticking around.

I loved the episode in Clarke's mind, it was so good. One of the best episodes of the show.

This was an amazing Clarke/Bellamy season. I loved everything from Bellamy realising Clarke was dead to his desperate attempt to save her. Bellamy's support of Clarke at the beginning of the season was great. I 100% believe they are in love with each other and this season only made me feel that more.

Murphy was (for the most part) excellent. I even loved his choice to work with Josephine. This season had some really great Murphy/Bellamy, Murphy/Clarke and Murphy/Emori.

Emori was great. I loved her siding with everyone else against Murphy because it was the right thing to do. That was such a big moment for the character.

The Octavia storyline was great. I really liked where she as a character went this season and how she got there worked well.

I liked the healing of the Bellamy/Octavia relationship and how they ended the season.

I loved the Octavia/Diyoza friendship. Diyoza was great in all her scenes.

I liked Echo. I liked her flashback. Jackson and Miller and Gaia were all fine.

I liked the Prime storyline as a whole and Alpha/Sanctum as a new location. I liked the Red Sun toxin and how it was used.

I liked the Red Sun episode. All the Clarke/Bellamy/Murphy stuff was great.

Jordan, as a character, I liked. The casting was perfect as Monty/Harper's son. I thought the actor did a good job.

Negative

Abby's storyline as a whole was terrible and the fact that they killed her at the end of it made it that much worse. She was fine until she reached Sanctum and became all about saving Kane at the expense of her relationship with Clarke and her growth as a character wanting redemption. That could have been done much better. Her final episode was great and that's what we should have gotten all season. She shouldn't have been killed even if I thought her death scene was great in itself

Raven's storyline/character was super disappointing. I was not a fan of what they did with her. Both with regards to Clarke and Abby. Her being so judgmental, self-righteous and how her anger was portrayed did her no favours.

Everything that happened post-Kane's death really worked to invalidate that death for me. By the end of the season I was left even more dissatisfied by it. His death scene itself remains excellent but the reason for it and the way it was immediately shown to be pointless, and the lack of reaction in the following episodes left a sour taste.

The way the show pulled back on Bellamy/Clarke in the final episodes and the way they kept Echo/Bellamy together the entire season while still continuing to not build up or spend any time on their relationship makes me sigh. Whatever. JRoth has been consistent that Bellarke are platonic soulmates, which fine. But what he's showing in the show does not line up with what he's saying outside. Apparently Bellamy's desperate journey to save Clarke was really about saving everyone and people just read it wrong? What? That is not what was shown on screen. In fact that's basically the opposite considering we see Bellamy agonising over leaving everyone behind after Clarke's saved. Ugh, whatever.

Jordan was unfortunately wasted. They didn't spend near enough time building his relationships with Earthkru and integrating him into the cast. He grew up hearing all about his parents friends but then that view of them vs them in reality wasn't really explored. Nor did he become close friends with any one of them. It was disappointing.

Murphy slagging on Clarke so much got old fast. Raven too.

Sheidheda was very meh. At the end I think too much time was spent on it, and that time was not best used. There was too much left unquestioned (what happened to the other Commanders), the actor wasn't strong enough to make the character interesting, and the character himself wasn't that interesting from what we're shown.

I hated that Abby (and Raven & Madi) were so excluded from Clarke's possession storyline. Hated it.

Murphy's whole motivation about 'going to hell' didn't really work for me. The show never really explored what he saw when he died and kind of just threw it out there as an excuse for his actions.

The 'end' to the Prime storyline with the Adjustment Protocol and the random Adjusters and the Prime's plan to leave didn't work for me.
