Strong Girl Bong-soon Episode 12 Thoughts

iaria+ "Thank you for coming into my life." ♥ Such a lovely sentiment in a lovely moment. I loved him staring at her so he could remember her face better when they were apart. I loved his "I miss her already" after she went into the house. The kiss was wonderful. I loved them each drawing half a heart and then their first kiss happening as they stood where the two halves met. Min-hyuk getting so excited about Bong-soon sending him "Sleep well Min Min" and looking at it over and over was adorable. They are so great.
+ Poor Kyung-shim, that was hard to watch. I loved her telling Bong-soon in the video not to come. Bong-soon's breakdown as she watched was so painful.
+ Wait, she loses her powers specifically by hurting an innocent person not just by misusing them in general?
+ It was a little contrived that Bong-soon would talk about her abilities like that to 'Kyung-shim'. Also for someone clever Kang-hyun repeating back what she just said in question form was super sloppy in it's obviousness. She literally just answered that question and implied it was something Kyung-shim already knew. So was him not going back through their previous conversations so he could get a sense of how they speak to each other.
+ I did like the scene where Bong-soon discovers via the texting that Kyung-shim had been kidnapped. The slow build up of her panic and fear was well done.
+ It was nice the whole squad walked out and stormed the junkyard but they still managed to be terrible at it. If they were going to go that far - breaking the law, going against their superior, risking their jobs - they should at least do a thorough job of searching the junkyard instead of the cursory one they did. Sigh.
+ Okay a couple of issues from the previous episode were made a little better in this one. It seems like Kyung-shim got taken when she was in Busan so her walking alone in headphones thinking she was safe makes more sense. I'll assume Mrs. Hwang took her to the bus stop and she had no reason to think he'd leave his capture area. In the same vein apparently the task force in charge of the case is keeping up the idea that they caught the kidnapper? And everything thinks that's true? The heck? I can't believe that Bong-soon hasn't told her family the truth.
