The Rain 2x01 and 2x02 Thoughts

iaria2x01 'Avoid Contact'
+ Right now the virus seems to be acting based on Rasmus's emotions lashing out in a semi controlled way to protect him. Does it have some sort of sentience or is Rasmus subconsciously controlling it? The plants beginning to be infected is an interesting turn and Rasmus's connection to all the other infected as well. Could he control them?
+ I'm surprised that everyone got back into the jeep with Rasmus with no apparent worry after he killed the soldiers by infecting them. It was never even brought up which I found weird. Did none of them see what happened?
+ Simone willingly leaving the room during the procedure and not even bothering to stay and observe is very unbelievable.
+ Frederick's death was so abrupt. There was literally no reason for Kira to shoot him which makes me think Sten ordered her to find a reason to kill him.
2x02 'The Truth Hurts
+ I loved Simone immediately acting to protect Rasmus but that she didn't tell Martin the truth during their days away is not good. Is she keeping the secret because she's falling back into old habits of her and Rasmus against the world or is she repressing the truth (Rasmus is dangerous) so hard and can't face it?
+ Jakob was a great brother but he got himself and everyone in those rooms killed by ignoring Rasmus's pain, in not caring that he could kill him and in his rush to do it immediately without more research.
+ I wish everyone would question this so convenient facility with everything they need. Who created it and why?
+ Patrick playing leader was amusing, the doofus. Him sticking his arm in an unknown device made me sigh, but of course he would.
+ Not a fan of Jean/Lea but I did like how he helped her with her emotional crisis and gave her the supported she needed.
