Episode 12

+ Oh, Joon-ki. I want to believe that the show will pull out another delightful surprise for me, for example Hae-sung saving Joon-ki with the skills Joon-ki taught him, but I'm sadly doubtful. I'm so worried about him.

+ The three women's friendship continues to be one of my favourite parts. This episode gave us a really nice focus on So-hye and Sul's friendship. I loved the bridal scene and So-hye confessing in her delirium how lonely and sad she was when their friendship stalled. I liked them happily chatting in Sul's room. I like that we got a book end with the three of them happily looking at So-hye's wedding gown. I'm was very glad that Mi-sun was a part of everything. I loved the scene between the three after the delirium incident and the others being so supportive of her and trying to make her feel better by one-upping who has the most reason to be embarrassed. It was such a sweet scene.

+ Hae-sung/So-hye continue to be lovely together. I loved her hiding under the covers in embarresment and his reaction. Her casually proposing while they ate and him failing to play hard to get was nice. I really love how patient and compassionate and wonderful he is with her and each new sympum that pops up.

+ I love that Hae-sung decided to hire Sul as his personal chef (and gave her the guest room). It makes sense and is the perfect first step for her. Plus that household really needs a personal chef.

+ I liked how Sang-wook got drawn into the main storyline via his friendship with Sang-hwa. I don't know that I buy that they couldn't find another lawyer who wasn't affiliated in some way with Jin-tae but whatever. I'll accept it because it's great. Especially him smack-down Jin-suk and her terrible contract.

+ I love that Sang-wook is such a huge fan of Hae-sung because of his volunteer work.

+ I love Chang-suk but he needs to stop being... that about Sul. It's creepy.

+ Mi-do getting the best of Jin-suk surprised me but also delighted me. I want them both to go down but it was satisfying to see Jin-suk face some of her own behaviour from the other side.

Episode 13

+ Yeah, I knew it was inevitable and I knew it would make me cry. I don't think this time will be another fake out because they actually built up to this moment. I'm glad that Joon-ki got to do a lot of things he wanted to and that his last moment was with a smile on his face. I like that the last part of the video he was watching was of him, So-hye and Hae-sung singing together.

+ I am deeply annoyed that they kept the truth about Joon-ki dying from So-hye. I understand why Joon-ki needed a little time but I really wish she had known. She deserved the chance to say goodbye.

+ Hae-sung/Joon-ki were so great this episode. Again I adore so much how emotional invested Hae-sung has become in Joon-ki - him crying when he learned that Joon-ki was going to die soon and they way he kept losing himself in his sadness made me very happy/sad. I felt for him so much in having to deal with his sadness alone. I loved him working so hard to help Joon-ki - taking him around to make his final arrangements and making it fun for him while doing so, taking him to the set and offering to let him be in a scene (that better have happened!) and just in general being there for him.

Most especially Hae-sung trying to help Joon-ki complete his bucket list by sending him and So-hye on a movie date, and encouraging them to go shopping and then cook together before coming home late, was so unbelievably sweet and kind. ♥ It made me cry a little (but then a lot of things in this episode did.) Also the way he kept looking at the two of them together, especially one moment during the party where Joon-ki is smiling and staring at So-hye and Hae-sung is staring sadly at him really came off to me like Hae-sung knew the truth about Joon-ki's feelings.

+ Joon-ki/So-hye were lovely and sad. The way he kept staring at her and imprinting these last hours in his memory... :( The way he said this to her:

"You will live."
"Yes."

+ I loved that Hae-sung called his new company Hyesung Entertainment after him and So-hye and that he got her old apartment back to use as their headquarters. So sweet.

+ So-hye and Min-sun protecting Sul from Jin-suk and her goon was so great. I loved Jin-suk's expression when she realised it was So-hye and Min-sun attacking her (and pulling out her hair!) was so deserved.

+ I love that when So-hye pops up in front of Hae-sung holding a piece of her cake he shies back like she just attacked him, lol. Also his knowing reaction when Joon-ki ate a piece of it, heh.

+ I get why it was all the characters we know ie: So-hye's friends that were at the party but Joon-ki wanted to cook for his friends, and he hasn't been integrated enough for them to actually be his friends. I wish we'd had a scene with his sister and actually friends, even just catching the tail end of it.
