Fantastic Episode 16 Thoughts
Sep. 30th, 2019 11:43 pmI found this episode okay. Not the most interesting episode of the series but a good enough end. Overall I really enjoyed the series and these characters.
+ The scene where Hae-sung convinces So-hye to eat was sad and lovely and he was so wonderful, and I liked how hard they were both trying to make the whole situation better for each other.
+ I loved Hae-sung's expression when everyone clapped at his table read. It made me aww so much. He was so shocked and moved, it was great.
+ I love that they've decided to all gather at Joon-ki's memorial tree once a year for a picture. So it's like he's there too. "So we can badmouth him too" Heh.
+ I'm so glad that a year later everyone's bonds are as strong as ever and that the three women are very much a part of each other's everyday lives.
+ I loved that it ended with everyone visiting Uyuni. I liked So-hye taking Sul and Mi-sun but it's weird that she and Hae-sung hadn't gone together considering the tickets Joon-ki gave them. Unless this is their second trip?
+ The heart collage of their wedding was very sweet. I like that later So-hye keeps her own collage wall.
+ Loved Sul interceding when the ex-boyfriend got aggressive. Sang-wook giving him his card to call if he had questions about the laws he was breaking amused me a lot. It was very him.
+ I like that Jamie is now a part of their group.
+ Chang-suk/Jamie at the end was a bit too random and matchy-matchy (everyone has to be in a relationship!) for me. Wasn't a fan.
+ I like that Chang-suk is the CEO of Hyesung Entertainment. I feel like that's a better role for him than for Hae-sung.
+ I find it very strange that So-hye's family didn't show up. They were mentioned in the previous episode, So-hye is in serious condition in the hospital, her marriage and ill-heath have been all over the news - and nothing? It was really weird.
