iariaI liked it. It's a pretty by the numbers revenge movie but for me having a woman being the one going for revenge automatically makes it more interesting. I'd watch a sequel.
+ I liked Riley.. I think they did a good job making her revenge spree believable. I really liked that whole scene with the boy on the bus and his drunk father.
+ I wish the movie had gone into her life on Skid Row a little more. I liked what we did see with her being their guardian angel.
+ I also would have liked to have seen more of the media/social media debate over her and maybe even seeing the cops debating over it.
+ Diego letting Maria go when Riley gave herself up didn't make much sense to me. This is the woman who humiliated him and has been destroying his business so why let her be the hero and save the girl? I'm glad Maria survived but I think it would have made more sense for him to have shot her.
+ I wish Inman had survived and been the one to free Riley at the end.
+ I liked Riley taking refuge at Peg's house and scaring the crap out of her. I'm sure she's thought many times about how things might have been different if the birthday party had happened. Her husband was always going to die but her daughter probably would have lived.
+ I was sold on Detective Beltran being the inside mole and didn't even consider Carmichael so that worked for me. I liked his few exchanges with Riley and him letting her go.
