The Good Place 4x03 & 4x04 Thoughts

iaria4x03 'Chillaxing'
+ I loved how enthusiastic and into torturing Chidi Eleanor got. I'm enjoying her and Michael being a team.
+ I loved Janet getting defensive over the terrible way John was treating Tahani.
+ I liked Eleanor's fond "I love that nerd" after making fun of Chidi.
+ I enjoyed getting a glimpse of season one Jason again and Chidi trying to deal with him was fun.
4x04 'Tinker, Tailer, Demon, Spy'
+ This was a great Jason episode. I love that he was the one to figure out that Janet was actually Bad Janet. I loved that moment of unexpected seriousness and determination when he declared that he was going to get Janet back (and punch Shaun in the mouth, I'm rooting for you Jason!), and then immediately reverting back to normal Jason. He also, as always, had some great background moments. I loved his nod of agreement when Michael asked whether his lie to cover his previous lies 'had to be okay'. I loved him sympathising with Glenn over always getting yelled at (but with hilarious Jason-esqe examples. I love him.)
+ Tahani's look at Jason when he casually stated that coconut milk goes best with pig urine - lol!
+ "We'll just try our best, right?" Aww. This was a good Michael episode too. I loved this goodbye with Eleanor and her stopping him from blowing himself up because sacrificing himself for them was a very Michael thing to do. I also liked him showing his vulnerability over who he is (a demon) and fear that if they saw his true form they'd never look at him the same again. I really felt for him in that moment and I hope the show brings this up again and delves into it a little more.
+ Ha, I knew Michael was lying about faking his breakdown.
+ I never thought we'd learn what Michael actually looks like so that was great. And he's got a name - a Fire Squid, awesome. I'm with Jason. I really want to see him.
+ Chidi's horse was so terrible and I loved everything about it.
