The Good Place 4x05 & 4x06 Thoughts

iaria4x05 'Employee of the Bearimy'
+ Wait, Michael gave Eleanor and Tahani all their memories back? Like, everything including all 802 reiterations? Off-screen? Hmm. It not affecting Jason at all is 100% Jason and believable but there should be repercussions for Eleanor and Tahani! Eleanor got some of her memories back last season and it was huge for her. This is a really big thing and I'm not happy with it being a throwaway line.
+ I wonder if the end game here might not be inadvertently making four demons 'good' rather than making the four humans better? Jason's right in his own way about how much Michael has changed, and I believe that Glen was sincere in his turncoat ways. It'd be a nice twist.
+ I enjoyed Eleanor calling Tahani 'babe' throughout the episode.
+ Loved Jason's love confession to Janet while still sincerely trying to stay in character.
4x06 'A Chip Driver Mystery'
+ I loved Michael letting Bad Janet go because it's how he's "decided to be a little better today then he was yesterday". Of all the characters he's definitely changed the most.
+ I loved Simone refusing to go along with humouring Brent and the narrative proving her right. It's a good thing she believes this is all in her head because otherwise she would have already figured out this was the bad place.
+ I loved Tahani going off on Brent.
+ Chidi punching Brett was unexpected but also a little satisfying.
