iariaA Diagnosis
+ I really loved Maggie/Amelia. Maggie's “I’ve got you. You’re not going to be alone.” and Amelia's “You are everything I never knew I needed.” were just so lovely. ♥ I loved Maggie being there for Amelia (and the show addressing why we didn't see Amelia/Meredith there for Maggie). I loved Amelia deciding she was going to raise her kid with her sisters – people who will love him and her unconditionally.
+ I get where Amelia is coming from but I really don't think her choice to not find out the paternity is going to fly and is honestly really selfish. Breaking up with Link over his reaction is fine and I get it. I'm good with Amelia deciding she wants to raise her kid alone /with her sisters. But Link and Owen deserve to know if they're the father.
+ I'm sad about what this show has done with Amelia/Link who were one of my favourite things at the start of the season. Boo.
+ It was really nice to see Meredith reaching out to Alex finally but I wish it had been about him and his absence and not because she needed him. Why the hell haven't Jo and Meredith got together to discuss this Alex situation and then one or both of them flown out to Iowa to see him? I don't get why they haven't been interacting much, or why they aren't sharing their concerns with each other, or learning/helping each other. The show keeps dropping relationship balls this season and I don't get it. I really need Mere to be there for others more than she has been this season thus far. Going forward I want more support from her for Amelia and Jo especially.
+ I was on Meredith’s side on the whole DeLuca situation. I get why he was pissed off (anyone would be) and Bailey/Meredith deciding to put Suzanne back on drugs without even consulting either of her doctors was really dumb. But while he (and other doctor) ended up right in their diagnosis the way DeLuca was acting was not great. He was clearly exhausted and overworked, he was obsessing and kind of losing it. He absolutely had the time to take Meredith aside and explain to her the diagnosis. I think if he had been a different resident Meredith would have interceded earlier or if it had been Bailey in Mere's place she would have made the same decision.
+ I like Cormac fine thus far and he and Meredith are still good but this episode also left me a little - meh, in that it felt a little forced a couple times? IDK.
+ I really appreciated Jackson apologising to Maggie. It kind of felt like him learning from his mom's situation with Richard which I also liked. And the bears line was great.
