I enjoyed it and overall really enjoyed this series.

+ There was a lot less Myfanwy/Gestalt than I was expecting but (as always) I loved everything we got. I loved their reaction to Myfanwy's letter and that they immediately instigated the drawbridge protocol to find her. I liked how intense they were when they found her and then when they were looking for her afterwards. Eliza walking into the room then Alex freaking out immediately after was great. I liked that the spontaneous memory Myfanwy got back was about them and her wanting them.

The absolute best thing we learned from this episode was the fact that all this time Myfanwy was pining for Gestalt as much as they were pining for her. That is amazing and I love it.

I am disappointed, especially knowing that there will be no more, that there wasn't more of a resolution between Gestalt and Myfanwy about their feelings or where their relationship was. I did love her meeting one, leaving and then another immediately popping up to say something else. But instead of saying thank you I really wanted her to confess something back to Gestalt, that she'd emotionally opened up to them a little more. It just didn't feel like enough especially since the last time they were together she was begging them to help her remember them.

+ I really enjoyed seeing Gestalt's attack on the house and how effective they were.

+ The biggest disappoint by far with the finale was Monica's plot and the fact that she had nothing to do with Myfanwy's rescue. I was expecting her to get a notice from the auction, see Myfanwy on it and that's how everyone would discover she was captured. After all Monica was the one who went to an auction and followed a buyer and was involved in that aspect of the mystery/plot. I can't believe that when it all came to head she was MIA, lost in her romantic angst and choosing to have her memories erased. What an utter waste of the character.

+ I loved that in the end no one at Checquy was a traitor or bad guy. I was expecting someone to be bad or corrupt so it ended up being a twist that no one was. They all had good motives. They were all doing their best. And that's kind of the best twist of all.

+ These last two episode in particular made me really love Linda. Her line to Conrad that Checquy was "the only family" some of them would have was clearly very much also about her. She loves Checquy deeply, she cares about it's people, her every move is about protecting it, and she believes 100% in it's mission. Her deciding to take the blame for the attack on Babylon in order to protect Checquy made complete sense and was such a badass move. I loved the end tag of her leaving with Bronwyn, presumably to save EVAs and fuck shit up for EVA trafficers as a hunted outlaw. I am so here for that and sad that we're never going to see it play out.

+ I loved that moment when Conrad just looked at Robert, giving them permission to go in and save Myfanwy and Linda. He had a pretty good journey in the finale of realising he had to be more than idealistic and I love that he chose loyalty and saving his people over the political considerations.

+ I was intrigued by Conrad's idea of consolidating all of Checquy under one roof/structure because I hadn't even realised that there was more! Is that where the Bishops and Knights are? Are there two Courts (since there are two sides of the chessboard) and thus there's another King/Queen? In a round about way this takes me to Danielle (and Claudia) who is new identified as part of the Court but had to be no? Also we got a look at the new (?) Glengrove facility where Nazim is apparently now living. It looked like a really big and extensive complex. I really wish we'd gotten to see more of the Checquy and how it works.

+ I liked that Myfanwy's reason for wanting to leave was her desire to figure out who she was now away from everyone who expected her to be who she used to be. That is a pretty good reason. And I like that in the end she decided to stay because she discovered that what she wanted to be most was someone who protected others like her and fought against those who'd harm them. I really liked that in the end she was kind of doing the work of both Linda and Bronwyn - protecting EVAs with Checquy and killing/fighting the EVA trafficers.

+ I loved Myfanwy's letter voice-over to her past self at the end but at the same time she's already recovered several memories, one from the far past seemingly spontaneously, which makes me think it's very possible that all her memories could return.

+ I liked that Myfanwy started the season afraid with no memory surrounded by bodies she didn't remember killing and ended it by purposefully killing someone with her powers, assured in herself and her place in the world. It was a good journey.

+ One thing that makes me shake my head is that a lot of the trouble that ended up happening was in part because of Linda's choices. One, if she had been honest with Myfanwy from the start things could have gone a lot better. Two, if she hadn't revealed the Conrad/Jennifer affair out of pettiness because he lied to her and then told Jennifer about Myfanwy, then she probably wouldn't have been fired.

+ I also seriously have to shake my head at Gestalt leaving Myfanwy in the bathroom. I can't believe they really seriously thought she would stay there. Dude.

+ Was part of the reason Myfanwy's memory wipe went so wrong because Nazim didn't have her focus first on what she wanted erased?

+ I'm pissed about the show killing that bee. That was completely unnecessary.
