Agents of Shield 7x04 & 7x05 Thoughts

+ I love that Coulson being damaged is the reasoning for the episode being in black-and-white + Coulson's internal monologue voice-over. I love that they found a way to have fun like this but also have it make sense.
+ Colouring coming back into the show as Coulson looks at May walking towards him was a great transition.
+ May now being an empath is an interesting choice.
+ Yo-Yo and Deke making a quiet agreement that maybe next time they have the chance they should make a change feels like it could lead to some consequences. You know Daisy will 100% be with them. It looks like Mack is losing control.
+ I have a hard time believing that Freddie would let Deke walk out alive.
+ I was disappointed that ‘Stark’s man’ wasn’t Jarvis.
+ Since they were bringing Sousa on I wished they’d addressed one of the cliffhangers that Agent Carter ended on – the fate of Jack. I absolutely believe he survived but confirmation would be nice. It would have been very easy to do too. I’d have loved if Jack had been at the hand-off guarding Stark’s man but if they couldn’t get the actor for a cameo then having Sousa casually mention him would have been enough.
+ I loved Mack’s reaction to learning they were in the 70’s the best. He is so done with this. Also how confused Deke was.
7x05 'A Trout in the Milk'
+ I loved the opening credits. My favourite thus far.
+ At this point the Chromicons have changed so much I feel like the team should just say screw it and do what they need to in order to stop them - and maybe make some good changes along the way.
+ I loved Deke shooting Freddie. I was a little surprised that Yo-Yo acted a little horrified by it.
+ I loved how salty Enoch was, in his own way, at being abandoned for forty years.
+ I liked the Deke/Jemma scenes, especially him saying "bye Nana" (I just love it every time their relationship is brought up) and him physically getting between her and Sousa when Sousa was yelling at her, and defending her to him. I'm sad that we haven't really had any bonding scenes between them this season.
+ I loved Daisy's sarcastic "okay, dad" to Coulson.
+ I don't understand why they're not just being honest with Sousa and telling him more information. Yeah, not wanting to overwhelm him with information sure, but there's no reason to be actively secretive. He's a trusted SHIELD agent, they saved him from his death and there is no going back for him and he's basically a member of their team for the foreseeable future. His frustration was more than understandable.
+ I loved Daisy showing Sousa her cell phone and his awe at the picture it took. It was very cute. I want more of these type of moments with him.
+ I am very curious about who could be in the photo that would get that reaction. It has to be someone they know so... Fitz? Malik said 'them' so Fitz/Flint/Piper? Or could they have grabbed Peggy/Howard?
