Roswell New Mexico 2x12 Thoughts

Max using his powers to kill Flint - what the hell, Max? Just wtf?! He's not a good guy and he wants to kill all of them, yeah but murdering him? Dude. Plus Max knows what happens when he uses his powers to kill someone and it's not good, not to mention how bad his heart currently is. Is this an affect from taking the antidote? He definitely came off addicted in that scene with Jenna. Is it from touching the alien remote control panel?
Max taking off after Flint instead of going for the bomb made me roll my eyes at him so hard. Priorities, Max! That said, do they even know that the alien killing atomizer is still in play or do they all still think that it's only the Manes killing one?
Maria going after the atomizer (like the sensible person she is) was great.
I loved how the Max/Liz fight swerved into her realising that they were missing something from Jesse's plan and them working it out together.
I was disappointed that we didn't get see Mimi's reaction to the alien 'reveal', or the fact that Isobel is her aunt. Did they even tell her after she kicked Isobel out of her head or do they think she still doesn't know? Does Mimi know her relationship to Isobel? She didn't seem to. How things played out with Mimi left me uncertain.
"Helena will take care of our girls", huh. 'Our girls'? Is that Mimi speaking or someone else?
I am very intrigued by Mimi's mind travelling through time, apparently into the minds of the women in their bloodline. Even into the future. That's neat and I want to know more about it.
I really enjoyed all the Isobel/Maria interactions.
I liked the reveals that Helena was just using Flint in order to get revenge on Jesse for murdering Jim, that she took Mimi because they're friends and they were working together, and that both know about the aliens. That Helena knows about Rosa. Weirdly all this made me like this whole situation better? Kids often don't know a lot about their parents lives, so when we learned Helena/Mimi were friends I was like, okay then. I liked them building up the love story of Helena/Jim and I loved the soapy goodness of her plan to get revenge/justice by having Jesse kill himself.
I liked Isobel smacking Michael when they reunited and telling him that "You don't comply with a kidnapper's ransom demands... without telling me."
I like Max and Jenna's friendship a lot. The Watson back and forth was cute. Her sarcastic "pining after and Ortega for years and years so weird, who does that" and Max's look back at her amused me. I liked Max opening up to her. "I didn't say anything." / "Really? Tell that to your face." Heh. I liked Jenna still thinking of them as partners.
Liz not going with Max to meet Kyle makes no sense. She didn't have anything else to do and Kyle said he had information so why wouldn't she be just as interested? They should have had him ask if she wanted to come and have her make an excuse for why she couldn't.
I liked Liz teasing Max about being friends with Kyle.
Rosa working at the Crashdown and wandering around town still feels dumb. I have a hard time believing the Rosalita lie working when Rosa is so infamous and also everyone lives in the 21st century and there are photos and probably videos of Rosa around.
It was nice to see Rosa and Maria interacting.
Michael leaving Alex tied up in his kidnappers house 'for his own good' was aggravating. Michael, stop being a dumbass!
Considering that Michael has been collecting, researching and trying to understand alien tech for years I wish we could have seen more of him interacting with it.
I wonder where the ship that that console controls is? I hope we get to see it in the finale.
They should have had Max use his abilities to short out the carnival. With all the lights off and none of the rides working most of the people would leave and return to the town. Instead going from Liz telling them to evacuate everyone to it being night with literally no change was rather comical.
There is no way that Grant Green would leave his alien tech sitting unguarded on that stage, or that people at the CrashCon wouldn't be trying to sneak in there to look at it constantly.
Walt showing up to help was great but not so much him wandering in to give information and then randomly wandering away again.
Max using his powers to kill Flint - what the hell, Max? Just wtf?! He's not a good guy and he wants to kill all of them, yeah but murdering him? Dude.
