Episode 2
+ "I thought about you a lot. You look better in real life." I like how Gon keeps saying things like this and it leaves Tae-eul speechless. He came on really strong, especially with his declaration at the end that that he wants to make her his queen, but I think his lack of money meaning he'd have to return home soon may be why. Or maybe he wasn't interested in anyone else because he'd already decided before meeting her that Tae-eul was the one for him.
I am really interested in seeing more of Gon growing up and how Tae-eul changed for him. At first she was his mysterious saviour on the worst day of his life but as he grew it's clear from what he says that he became infatuated with 'her'. He thanks her "Because you existed I was less lonely for the past 25 years." which I find beautiful but also really significant. I hope we get more flashbacks expanding on this.
+ He thought she would be softer? I can't imagine what gave him that impression. All the dead bodies 'she' left in her wake?
+ Eun-seob is pretty adorable. I loved the way he immediately gave in with a little bribery and then later was taking care of Gon (taste tester, lol) I liked the whole scene where Tae-eul was texting him in anger.
+ Gon starting to give her a lecture explanation of quantum mechanics and then getting derailed by his offence that she isn't charmed by him amused me.
+ I can't believe he spent the money from all those diamonds that quickly... and yet that's mostly horrified disbelief and I can buy it. Of course he spent it so quickly, he has no real concept of money or budgeting because it's never been a worry for him.
+ I liked the Yeong/Seung-ah scene. Her "he's so cool" under her breath and his unemotional "I can hear you" made me lol. I loved her chagrined look when she remembered how many pictures of that day were of him.
Episode 3
+ "You are much more amazing than I had imagined." I kind of love that she spends all her time ignoring him and acting like he's crazy and he's still heart eyes about her.
+ I liked the interview between Ok-nam and Seung-ah, and that Ok-nam enjoys Seung-ah's fanfiction. Heh. Seung-ah distracting from Gon's disappearance by playing on people's love, and shipping, of Yeong/Gon amuses me a lot.
+ I'm still not sold on Seo-ryung but I loved her "I'm the Prime Minister. Not the representative of a party. That was great. I'd like to see more of that side of her less of the petulance.
+ What was with the pain/mark that appeared on Gon during the lightning storm? Rim's lived in the Republic for decades so it can't be an effect from being in a world not your own. I find it interesting.
+ It seems a bit of a leap for Gon to conclude that his uncle faked his death with a body that was exactly like his own down to the DNA. If there was something small about it that was wrong - Republic version had a pin in his leg from breaking it as a child, say - that he could point to as obviously wrong it would make sense. And why upon getting confirmation that he could be right wouldn't he try to investigate into his uncle existing in this new world?
