- Hye Ri was adorable for the first part of the episode. From her excitement to see In Woo and dancing around him after her father reassured her, to her happily picking out a gift for him, to her “I lack creativity. But concentration and memory those things I excel in.” and use of his bucket trick to her waiting for the elevator to come with him she was so endearingly cute. I loved it. Yoo Na says while Hye Ri is shopping that “she’s totally head over heels” and this is the episode where Hye Ri finally begins to realise that she is in love with In Woo. Her talk with Jung In about love and her own hurt and unhappiness at In Woo’s distance, and her jealousy over Jeni have all conspired to force her to acknowledge feelings she’s been ignoring for awhile now.

Unfortunately this is also the episode were In Woo’s long-ranging plan finally comes to fruition and he begins to put up walls with her – being cold and abrupt, ignoring her, purposefully being cruel. She spends the second half of the episode increasingly hurt and I just wanted to punch him in his pretty face. I hate him hurting her so much. Clearly he hates hurting her as well – I loved the little moment where he closes his eyes in pain after he sees the disappointment on her face at him not wearing her gift and him finishing her bowl of ramen – but apparently Hye Ri’s sadness and hurt trumps his for me. I am so mad at him. A part of me even wants her to end up with Se Joon in the end, and find happiness, while he lives forever alone and always regretting it. Jerk. I understand pulling away but he purposefully did it in as hurtful a way as he could.

My heart was breaking for Hye Ri at the end. When she told Jeni that he would call and then started crying outside I wanted to hug her. Kim So Yeon did an amazing job this episode.

- So In Woo’s disappearance – is his plan to just to avoid seeing Hye Ri ever again now that he’s completely turned her life upside down? The ass.

- I loved the scene where Hye Ri investigates her father as flashbacks show In Woo doing the same thing. It was beautifully shot and put together.

- I really liked the Hye Ri/Jung Sun interactions. I really do love how friendly they are and I thought their confrontation was great. Hye Ri really needed it.

- “Dad are you stupid? How can you be so blind?” – Bin Yun. Hee. I admit the fact that he apparently had no idea that Jung Sun liked him caused me to have the same reaction. I really liked that we had that moment of seeing Jung Sun as a woman, perhaps for the first time, when he looked at the pictures before he learned she liked him. He was clearly affected by them and just that has him looking at Jung Sun in a new way. I think she’s clearly been there as such an integral part of his life for so long that he took it for granted that she would always be there. Her decision not to carpool with him in clearly shook him a bit and now with what happened in this episode he is left completely uncertain. I loved the scene where he watches Bin with her. I totally bet that Bin and Jung Sun’s mother set that up.

- I love the Chief. His reactions to everything are great and he really seems to care. The other male prosecutors gossiping about the triangle made me laugh.

- Hye Ri’s mother is wonderful. I loved her talking up In Woo to her husband and that she was willing to give up her marriage to help Hye Ri be happy. Her “Hye Ri, I protected you” reminded me so much of her daughter in its delight. But she clearly got a lot more from Sang Tae’s distracted and uncaring willingness to drop the marriage agreement then there was actually there. She was so happy and seemed to take it as some sort of declaration that he loves her still that it made me so sad for her.

- Hye Ri did a little inventory with this episode of things In Woo gave her – a pin, her cell phone, the alarm clock – and seeing them all together like that my first thought was that he bugged them. That could be one explanation for how he’s been getting all his information.

- Wow. Reactions speak louder than words and Man Chul instinctive cower when he saw Sang Tae said so much. He was so scared. Who the hell is Ma Sang Tae? Did he actually kill the guy that In Woo’s father was framed for killing?
