iariaThe Big Bang Theory 5x12 'The Shiny Trinket Maneuver'
After a bunch of meh episodes it was great to be back to enjoying this show.
• I loved the Sheldon/Penny scenes. The jewellery store one was great.
- “Oh my god, now I know what I sound like to you when I say stupid stuff.” – Penny. Hee.
• I loved the last Sheldon/Penny/Amy scene. I loved Penny’s proud smile at Sheldon’s apology and Amy knowing Sheldon’s ‘koala face’, and Amy’s reaction to her tiara, and Penny’s sincere grin at her joy and just everything about the three of them makes me happy.
- “And I’m pretty disappointed in you too. But we both know that won’t last.” – Penny. ♥ I love Amy’s crush on Penny.
• “Seeing as how I make way more money than you anyway what if I worked and you stayed home with the kids? ... I’ll work and have conversations with people my own age and enjoy my life.” – Bernadette. Hee.
- I... liked Bernadette’s compromise about children, in that she was trying to figure out a situation that would work for both of them, but it’s like she’s never heard of working mothers. Plus if she really doesn’t like kids then I don’t know that even this ‘compromise’ is going to work for her. Howard’s reaction was less than enthusiastic so I think this might become an Issue again anyway. On the other hand he did agree to it.
- We got to see Howard discussing the situation with his friends so I really wish we’d gotten a small scene of Bernadette talking it over with Penny and Amy.
- I was surprised to learn that Bernadette earns 'way' more than Howard. Didn't she and Penny meet at the Cheesecake Factory? I do like that it's apparently not an issue for Howard.
• I really liked the Leonard/Sheldon advice giving scene. Sheldon ‘out for a walk’ was funny and Leonard was being a good friend.
White Collar 3x11 'Checkmate'
• I loved that Elizabeth saved herself (mostly). She was great throughout – getting a clue to Peter, keeping calm throughout, tricking her kidnapper.
• I loved Peter/Neal scene where Neal confesses why he and Mozzie fought. I loved all the Peter/Neal interactions actually.
• "No lies. It's about Elizabeth." - Neal. ♥
• I love that Mozzie returned immediately after he learned that El was kidnapped and him confessing to Peter that he cared about El, and Peter, was sweet.
• I liked El sending Peter to save Neal.
• When Mozzie was blaming himself for what happened to El I loved that Peter told him it wasn’t his fault.
• I love that Satchmo bit one of the kidnappers and tried to protect El.
• I loved Estelle the carrier pigeon. That is so Mozzie.
• A tiny thing but during the scene where Jones pulls out a map to pinpoint El’s location I noticed that there beyond him and Diana there were four female and three male agents in the room. I liked that.
• Keller taking credit for discovering and rescuing the treasure makes sense for who he is but how the hell does that make sense otherwise? I mean – how are they all explaining why Elizabeth was kidnapped? That’s not something they can cover up. Or why the Keller/Peter/Neal showdown happened?

- I... liked Bernadette’s compromise about children, in that she was trying to figure out a situation that would work for both of them, but it’s like she’s never heard of working mothers. Plus if she really doesn’t like kids then I don’t know that even this ‘compromise’ is going to work for her. Howard’s reaction was less than enthusiastic so I think this might become an Issue again anyway. On the other hand he did agree to it.
- We got to see Howard discussing the situation with his friends so I really wish we’d gotten a small scene of Bernadette talking it over with Penny and Amy.
