Doctor Who 12x03 & 12x04 Thoughts

Meh.
+ "I don't need a second person for conversation. A lot of the time they just get in the way." - Doctor. Ha!
I also loved:
Kane: You can't build an ionic membrane out of scratch.
Doctor: If I had crayons and half a can of spam I could build you from scratch.
Hee. Oh, and her describing the Dregs as "like a really angry tree" made me LOL too.
+ I liked the Doctor obliviously plopping herself between Ryan and his attempts at flirting much to his consternation.
12x04 'Nikola Tesla's Night of Terror'
Much better.
+ I loved the Doctor vs the Skithra Queen. Their final confrontation was excellent. I loved the Doctor's disdain for the Queen. I loved her tricking her at the end.
+ I loved the Doctor's expression when the Skithra Queen asked if she'd ever seen a dead planet.
+ I loved the ruthlessness the Doctor showed. "I gave you your chance." I like. The Skithra reminded me a lot of the Raknoss which feels appropriate in an episode where Thirteen ended up reminded me a lot of Ten.
+ I liked the Doctor's interactions with Tesla. Them connecting over being inventors was great. (I love the Doctor as inventor and I love how much it's foregrounded with Thirteen.)
+ I was annoyed by Noor and Ada being mind-wiped but to not even have it brought up as a possibility for Tesla and Edison only two episodes later is aggravating.
