I liked it.

+ Clarke/Octavia were wonderful and I wanted so much more. This is what I've been wanting from their relationship! "I finally understand you. You have Madi, I have Hope. I’d do anything to keep her safe." This made me so happy. More S5 vindication! I loved Clarke going over to comfort a crying Octavia – because Clarke also understands what Octavia was going through. I wonder if Clarke was flashing back to Madi coldly killing the convicts in S5. I love how Octavia's life with Hope has brought her an change of perspective and new understanding of both Bellamy and Clarke.
I really loved that when Clarke told Bellamy "Go float yourself" Bellamy turned to Octavia and she purposefully turned away from him and walked to Clarke's side giving her her support. I adored her reaching out to gently touch/hold Clarke's hand. Just a beautiful moment from start to finish.
+ I loved the Bellamy/Clarke confrontation. So excellent. I loved how emotional he got when he said "I’m asking you to believe in me." I loved Clarke not having any of the nonsense he was throwing out.
"And now I’m trying to save you. (slight pause) All of you." So emotional! And once again we have Bellamy emphasizing Clarke as his focus and then immediately following by including everyone else. I loved how vehement he was when he said that first 'you'. It reminds me of the lengths he went last season to save her.
+ It didn't slip my notice that Bellamy was at his most emotional during his confrontation with Clarke. He was self-contained during his scene with Echo/Raven whereas with Clarke/Octavia (with Clarke as focus) he raised his voice and got teary-eyed and impassioned. He sent Raven to m-cap without a change of expression but when it came to Clarke he had to take a breath and gather himself. Also he explained himself to Clarke/Octavia but not to Echo/Raven. It just really stuck out how differently the two scenes played out.
+ The Clarke m-cap scene really felt like a huge missed opportunity. It was so quick and ended up feeling like it had no purpose. Considering how it ended I was left wondering why Bill didn't take everyone to the stone room and threaten to send her people through to Penance one at a time until she told them. They, and especially Bellamy, know Clarke's weak spot. It would have been much faster. So it left me wondering why we had her in the m-cap?
I suppose it was just to show how serious Bellamy's commitment to Bill's path is and solidify his betrayal (a counterpart to Clarke's season 5 betrayal, perhaps) but honestly it felt like a waste of m-cap. They could have at least used it to show Bellamy moments of Clarke's life that he missed - the radio calls, or times she acknowledge how much he meant to her, or even moments where she's suffered alone for her people, just something - either to crack his new beliefs or cause him more torment.
+ Clarke successfully fighting the m-cap, without knowledge of how to do it safely, that she almost fried her brain but didn't give them anything was interesting. Was she so effective in fighting it because of her experiences with Josephine/the City of Light and/or because she has the neural net? I do love badass Clarke fighting so hard they can't get into her head. Now she and Octavia have another thing to bond over!
+ I love that the show gave us the Bellamy/Raven confrontation but her being sent off to the m-cap and then us not getting anything else - not seeing it, not seeing her afterwards, and when we do she seems unaffected - was a weird choice.
+ Even if Bellamy's conversion to the Path is still inexplicable I am glad that he's still trying to bargain to save everyone and work within his new faith to protect them.
+ So wait, when Bellamy touched the light beings he didn't actually see a vision? He became a believer based on the feeling it gave him and the storm passing? Really? Hmm.
+ I wonder if then next time we see Echo it won't be her breaking up with Bellamy? If they were sent to Penance Echo will have time to deal with his betrayal especially in light of all she did in her effort to save him as well as what she did in her grief over his death. She'll have many more people with her and most of them far more peace inclined though I'm not sure how you'd reconcile all she did with him saying his new belief was more important than the lives of her and the rest of his family. Echo is so loyal that it feels like even more of a betrayal. I hope this somehow comes back around to her Roan/Echo hallucinations.
+ I'm still finding Octavia weirdly... calm about everything. I'm annoyed that we got no grief over Diyoza's death even though it should have been devastating. I'm annoyed that we didn't get a show of concern/worry for Hope. And I'm really annoyed that Octavia/Bellamy continues to feel shoved to the background. Why didn't we get an emotional confrontation between them?
+ I'm really disappointed Octavia was sent off with the others instead of being kept behind to stay part of the A-plot.
+ I loved the show putting Hope and Jordan together. (Now I want a Madi/Jordan/Hope scene before the finale.) It was a really great scene. I love that Jordan was able to connect with Hope, the hug, and Hope crying out her grief in his arms was moving and kind of a beautiful.
+ I'm really surprised that Bill went to Sanctum and that he did it with only Bellamy and Doucette as guards. Somewhere Anders is having an apoplexy over it.
+ The obvious place to have sent them was Penance, which at least would give Hope time to heal, but I'm hoping they went somewhere else instead. There aren't many options but Etheria could be interesting especially if they learn something new/different from what Bellamy did while there. I hope we get to see some of their journey too.
+ I loved Miller's "You good with this?" to Clarke and that he waited until her head nod before picking up his helmet. I mean it's not like he had a choice but I really do love him as her second. I wish we'd had more of them but I love every little moment we've gotten.
+ A little sad we didn't get a Miller reaction to Bellamy's betrayal though I guess him pointedly ignoring Bellamy to check with Clarke is sort of one. Still a judgy glare, which Miller is so good at, wouldn't have been amiss.
Sanctum
+ I adored Murphy's little almost smile/smirk when he saw Clarke standing there. He was so relieved/happy to see her and it made me really happy.
+ Murphy/Emori continue to be amazing and wonderful. "Cave, garage, with you all of them are castles." Awww! I loved their little exchange after the Murphy/Nikki scene where Emori silent claps for Murphy's performance, his "all right, I'm awesome" and gentle arm touch as he moved past her, and her big grin. It was super adorable! This was really excellent:
Emori: You’ll be on the wrong side of the door.
Murphy: You’ll be on the right side. (hug) I’ve got this. I’m coming back.
On the one hand, beautiful moment of shared love and concern for each other.
On the other, when he smilingly said he was coming back I had a 'noooo, don't say that' moment. It's like he's never watched Scream. Dude, you never say that. My fear for them continues to grow. Even beyond that moment there were The 100 death signs flashing at both of them, though especially Murphy, all episode and it's stressing me the fuck out! I love everyone showing appreciation for Murphy and the highlighting of him being heroic and awesome but also - be the damn cockroach Murphy!
+ Indra: I’m proud of you Muphy.
Murphy: Yeah get in line.
Awww! Such a nice moment and I love how pleased he seemed after she left, but at the same time it's deeply worrying!
+ Nikki seemed affected by Murphy's words but also immediately went back to trying to free herself so I'm not sold. Even moreso since Raven is now back on the same planet with her. With only four episodes to go I'm tense in anticipation for a major character death or two and thus back to worrying about Raven. Why have her brought to Sanctum instead of sent with the others except to facilitate the Nikki vs Raven showdown part 2?
+ I loved Emori threatening to set off the reactor and Murphy's little smile of adoration.
+ I loved Clarke's expression when they appeared in the palace instead of the underground place in Gabriel's camp, into a full on Mad Max-esque dystopia. You can practically see her 'WTF! I was only gone for a couple days!' I honestly find it amazingly fun.
+ "Raven, in one of her more questionable moments that I nevertheless respect, locked me in here with him." - Murphy. Aw, I really liked this and I just hope that one day he gets the chance to tell Raven because it's something she needs to hear.
+ I loved that little Madi/Emori exchange. It was a really nice moment between them and a great Emori moment.
+ I liked Madi connecting with her children of Gabriel friend using her own loss of her people to help him.
+ I liked Indra saving the CoG kid and I'm glad that she's still alive - but why is she still alive? After Sheidheda caught her working against his wishes he should have used that as an excuse to execute her.
+ Shiedheda is the most ridiculous but I'm enjoying it. He had a throne made of the bones of former 'gods'! Just - like, you have to laugh at that. What a over-dramatic cliché. I also loved him having Murphy tied up beside said throne and forced to play chess with him at the end.
+ Poor Sachin and the Children of Gabriel. I understand why they wouldn't kneel to another false god but also I'm sad that's the end they got. It wouldn't have done anything but knowing they faced certain death why didn't they try to rush Shiedheda and kill him? It would have at least been them going out fighting. Also was Madi's friend the youngest CoG? Do they not have any children amongst them?
I liked it.
