It Never Ends Well for the Chicken
I liked it.
+ The b&w flashback was fun enough. I loved the framing device of Lucifer telling Trixie a story especially the end reveal that she was working for Maze to get the story out of Lucifer. That was so great.
+ I loved Lucifer making the story gender balanced for Trixie.
+ It was unexpected but wonderful to see 'Charlotte' even if it wasn't actually her. Dare I hope this could mean we might get to see Mother or Charlotte again?
+ I liked the Lucifer/Lilith friendship. I love that her sending her children to Lucifer ended up not being needed for the war but did save him from being alone over the millennia and his deep gratitude to her for it.
+ If Lilith put her immortality into the ring doesn't that mean it is in fact a ring of immortality now? If so there is no way that isn't coming into play in the future.
+ I liked the reveal that Lilith sent her children away to protect them from suffering from the same trauma that haunted her. "They can't be banished because they have no home, they can't be abandoned because they have no family." I get where she's coming from even if I think she's wrong. I'm sure she'll show up again which is good because we need a better confrontation between her and Maze then we got.
+ I was glad that Lucifer's secret from Maze wasn't something really terrible. This is absolutely forgivable.
