7x13 'Newton Purcell' [No. 144]

+ Cute exchanged between Liz and Red, and I loved her making him laugh and her grin, and just how happy they are:

"I'm a contrarian by necessity, not by choice — if people were wrong less often, my life would be much easier." - Red
"And considerably less smug." - Liz

+ Nice little Aram/Liz friendship moment.

+ Liz cuddling Agnes and asking her if she wants to know how her parents met was sweet but also however that first meet cute was engineered by Tom it was engineered because Tom was a criminal who was hired to spy on her. So.

+ It's always fun to see Glen and his interactions with Red are gold. Also I loved Dembe telling Red that he wasn't going to rub Glen's feet, heh.

+ It's dumb but apparently I'm still at BEC level with Liz's portrayal because when she radio'd Alina to cut the power instead of them showing her dealing with the soundboard and then Alina fighting Purcell I was mentally sighing. Let Liz do things!

7x14 'Twamie Ullulaq' [No. 126]

+ Poor Alina. That is a pretty harsh backstory. She was just a kid and she doesn't deserve to have to live with that. I liked her scene with Red and love that he engineered the meeting to help her.

+ I like the set up of Alina unknowingly trapped with Lussier but I just can't buy that she doesn't know what he looks like. They really needed to address it. She literally structured her entire life on finding him, she shifted her grief and anger and blame onto him, he was her obsession to the point she broke laws and burned bridges... and she doesn't know what he looks like???

+ BEC moment of the episode: the guy Liz shot being the one to get up and almost kill her/Alina. Because she didn't check that he was really down before running to check on an upright and conscious Alina first.

+ "We're the FBI, we're supposed to stop crimes, not facilitate them." made me lol because the Taskforce's motto is basically 'facilitate crimes to stop worse crimes'.

+ Why the heck would Elodie need access to information about the blacklisters in order to figure out a way to murder her helpless impaired husband? She has access to google.

+ I really don't think Aram needed to bring Elodie to his top secret workplace in order to confront her with maybe being a murderer.

+ Liz and Ressler stopping at the accident site just in case their assistance was needed while in a middle of a mission was beyond stupid of them. WTF?
