I enjoyed it.

+ I loved Cora/Ampersand and the evolution of their relationship. I loved the scene where he makes a den for her and then offers her comfort and how that led to his secretly visiting her more and a breakdown in the physical distance between them.

+ I liked how alien the aliens are.

+ I liked that Cora's initial involvement with Ampersand was entirely down to her relationship with Luciana and convenience (easier to grab her than anyone else because she'd separated herself from the family) rather than anything special about her in herself but that it was Cora herself that caused herself to be important - both to Ampersand and to the events that played out. She showed kindness towards Ampersand, she opened a dialogue with him, she offered herself as an interpreter and every step of the way she made herself important.

+ My biggest disappointment was with Genome's death. It felt very pointless. Like she was barely a character and so to kill her off like that left me wondering what even was the point of her? I was intrigued and wanted to know more about her and what exactly they wanted her for and how she'd react to being on Earth and what the potential relationship between her and Cora could be, and then just nope, doesn't matter cause she's dead rather pointlessly. Boo.
