+ Not sure how I feel about the Red/Liz and Red/Dembe stuff this episode. I've kind of always wanted Liz being the heir to Red's kingdom so Red moving forward with turning his empire over to Liz was something I liked. I liked that even though he knows that Liz has lied to him again he's still going forward with what he thinks is best for her.

He does say he's giving her the keys to his kingdom "regrettably" and that "her path is undeniable". I think it's been clear that Red has always wanted Liz to have a normal and safe life away from the spies and criminals and lies, to have to family she wanted so the 'regrettably' could just be about that. I think that it's also likely that in her he sees his own path. That she's changed and is now going in the same direction his life went and realising he can't stop her on that dark and dangerous path he is instead going to arm her as best he can.

+ I'm sad about yet another knock to Red and Dembe's relationship we got this episode but I'm glad that he seemed receptive to the Imam's words and him looking at Dembe as he said "Sometimes there is no choice." was definitely him connecting where he sees Liz's path going to where Dembe's just took him which felt accepting on his part of the choice Dembe made. I guess we'll see.

+ "I don't think one of us can live while the other survives. And I think the outcome is in your hands." Katarina was rather threatening in that talk, wasn't she? I wish the show had bothered to show us more of Liz and Katarina's relationship and them working together. Have they even bothered to try and build a relationship?

+ It was nice to see Marvin again. I loved Liz's smile when she heard Marvin's voice and his sighing "Hello Agent Keen".

+ I like that Liz has Dembe filed under "people I care about". It's nice to hear.

+ I realise that the Imam is important to Dembe but him not telling Red about Katarina really took me aback.

+ Red bursting in at the perfect moment was a little convenient. I can't believe that Katarina had the Imam delivered - and then stayed in that same place instead of whisking him somewhere secret. It makes no sense. It's deeply dumb and Katarina should be way better than that.

I also can't believe that Katarina would keep the Maddie Toliver identity and use it when Reddington knows it's her, and thus it would out her fake death if he ever heard it. It's too dumb for what a great spy she's supposed to be. It would all have worked if she'd been using it as a trap to capture Red again but as if, meh.

+ I also found it strange that Katarina would be willing to lose her greatest advantage against Red - his belief that she was dead - so quickly.

+ I'm interested in the fact that Katarina thinks that whatever Red's secret is something the world would care about.

+ Liz approaching the criminals with 'FBI freeze' when she already knew they were already on the other roof was dumb. What exactly was her plan here? Hope they would listen? She should have either shot them or left for the other building without giving them forewarning.

+ Was that Berdy Red shot? Too bad.
