It was okay. Not good but not terrible. That was the casting overall – fine, not what I envisioned but okay.
+ Heigl as Stephanie was fine. I actually liked her the most. Heigl’s accent was very difficult to get past at first but by the end I barely noticed it.
+ Grandma Mazur was the worst casting choice - I love Debbie Reynolds but she was very miscast.
+ Ranger wasn’t how I saw him but I liked him and his interactions with Stephanie. Morelli felt off but was okay.
+ I’m mostly sad that it wasn’t better and thus we be getting more of the series because they’re very fun books and would make very fun popcorn movies (and there’s so many of them!) and with this failure I don’t know when or if they’ll try again.
