iariaI really enjoyed it. Very sweet movie.
+ I liked the characters. Carol was great. I loved her friendship with Dennis, her relationship with George was really sweet and very believable, and I loved her growing friendship with the AI. I also liked the two FBI agents.
+ I loved the AI. A+ on the sense of humour. The Wargames bit was great. Although afterwards looking at some of the expression in the room I was left wondering if those younger people even knew what that was about. James Corden was a good fit.
+ I loved the AI playing fairy godmother. Carol getting a makeover and all the money she could want and a beautiful apartment and her Foundation was fun.
+ I was surprised that Carol didn't think of going to Ireland with George. It's the obvious solution! It's his dream, she has no job. Him not bringing it up since she appears to have a fabulous life in Seattle makes sense but why didn't it occur to her?
+ By far the most unbelievable part of the movie was all the world leaders coming together and agreeing to shut down all power across the globe (starting in CHINA! and ending in THE US) within like a day of learning about the existence of the AI. I mean the AI didn't even do anything that could be threatening or proof positive that it even was an all powerful AI for any other world leader but they just immediately believed the US's story? Russian and China were immediately on board? Sorry, but there is no way.
